We had the good fortune of connecting with 100Rome and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi 100Rome, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I haven’t succeed all the way. But the habits that has helped me so far succeed has been repetition, consistency, accountability, & being persistent. You have to be able to work on your craft & elevate yourself even if you’re already on a good level you have to work you have to put the work in even when you’re in a good place
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got to where I’m at today in music from networking & putting out great content. I’ve worked with tons of producers and have met tons of people in the industry. HECK NO! It’s not easy a lot of people get that part confused this is HARD work & it is time consuming takes a lot of investments so you have to be mentally prepared. I’ve learned that money talks a lot more than it would anywhere with this industry but I also know that your talent can open that door way for you. Just stay confident & keep believing in yourself somebody will see what you see trust me. I want the world to know that I’m more than just a music artist I’m 100Rome or Rome either or is fine but I want to connect people together closing the gap between the “it’s about who you know phases” & I want people to remember be for solidifying myself in this & actually bringing quality content as well as expanding myself & the brand. Don’t forget my name because you WILL SEE it again.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First if you’re coming to Atlanta you can’t come down here & not go to American Deli. Gotta get some wings man since we do have the best wings ever. Gotta go to the studio of course Str8OffDaBoat studios to be exact. & also we would get together & play basketball anything sometimes go to the mall or we’ll just all get together maybe grill a bit & just vibe out honestly with the whole team.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to take a moment to shoutout the whole 100 Gang movement & fanbase. I would be nothing without my team & my supporters !!
