8 years ago I participated in a 30 day juice fast, where I only drank fresh juice and smoothies for all meals. During that time I shared a little about the journey, and soon after many of my friends and family began to ask me for recipes and other ways adding juices and smoothies could assist in gaining better health. A few months after the fast, I participated in a natural hair event and brought along a juicer and served fresh juices and was a hit. Over the years I have moved my business from a delivery business, into a store front, and with Covid 19 having a huge impact on my business we are now relaunching to a subscriptions box model that will be available at the end of this year. Well I always had a love for nursing, beauty, health and wellness. After 15 years of being a bedside nurse, I was ready to incorporate my other loves but into nursing some kind of way. I wanted to be on the other side of nursing, more preventative. I wanted to make people feel and look good, but not so medical persay…I started researching and reading about iv hydration and vitamins injections and notice more celebrities was doing it then anything, and decided I try it. I felt absolutely amazing. I was like I got service to more readily available for everyone. As far as skin component of it….I had such a hard time finding treatments that work for my daughter. There were no dermatologist in our area that look like us…that really sparked my passion for skin care even more and after 6 months in the business added more skin care regimen into the business. I’ve had an entrepreneurial mindset, from about the age of 12 when I set up my own yard sale to sell the things I no longer wanted. I’ve had business many ideas and even started many things. However, Office Work Done is a mixture of my natural gifts and abilities coming together with gratitude and a desire to help others. After the birth of my second child, I left the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom. I was going to work from home, I was going to turn my then side hustle of being a freelance administrative assistant into more of a regular thing.
