My favorite quote is: *’Everything happens for a reason.’* It reminds me to trust the process, even when life takes unexpected turns. Sometimes, in the moment, it’s hard to understand why something is happening, especially when it’s negative or feels like a setback. But looking back, I’ve realized that every challenge has shaped me and opened doors I didn’t know existed.
Even the hardest experiences have taught me lessons, pushed me to grow, and ultimately led me to opportunities that have changed my life. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without those moments. If you want to go FAST go alone, but if you want to go FAR, go together. I have been in private school education for 34 years and I have been around team sports my entire life. I think it is so important for young people and older people for that matter to know how to work and be a part of a team. Your entire life, you are going to be a part of a team. whether it be a sales team, marketing team, administrative team, a lawyer’s team, whatever the industry, you will be a part of a team. Knowing how to work together is so important. Knowing what your role is and doing it well is key as well. Your role can change depending on which team you are on. Sometimes, you are the leader and sometimes you play a smaller role, but in the end, everyone is important to the success of the team. Read more>>
