Giving up is not an option for me. Since I was a young boy I have witnessed my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and others in my family find the strength to keep fighting. To keep going. I was born into survival and handed the weapon of perseverance at an early age. I don’t know how to give up. Even in the times where I want to give up there is this driving force on the inside of me that just won’t let me quit.
