Hi Nubia, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Habits that I feel have helped me to succeed would be daily meditation, affirmations and visualization of the lifestyle I desire to lead. I write everything down on paper and always follow my inner compass, intuition, spiritual and ancestral guidance. I trust in my dream and vision, maintaining focus on my path knowing that my journey is unique to anyone else’s.

I also believe in getting plenty of rest, practicing self-care in all forms, feeding your vessel high vibrational herbs and whole foods in order to stay in physical and spiritual alignment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
NBU Bath Botanicals seeks to integrate Holistic Beauty and Wellness by formulating products with WHOLE BODY health in mind. I take pride in offering quality products made solely with Earths medicine. I emphasize the use of various salts, herbs, clays, plant and essential oils, handcrafting all products with organic, wild crafted, fair trade, sustainably harvested materials. I offer a variety of holistic bath, beauty and wellness products including botanical bath bombs, bath and body oils, Shea butter cream, liquid and bar soap, clay masks, exfoliants, Yoni steams, womb wellness products, natural hand dipped incense, herbal teas + more. I am most excited for all of the projects and ideas I have yet to release. It’s a joy to share and walk in my divine purpose.

Entrepreneurship has not been easy, but I would not say that it has been particularly difficult. It has been a beautiful roller coaster of emotions, trial, error and a lot of patience with self. I trust in the process, focus on mastering my craft and walk in authenticity at all times. I have always desired for my business to grow organically and to stay hands-on throughout the entire journey. I am a perfectionist who has had to learn how to ask others for help and trust them to help me. This has been one my biggest challenges, since from the beginning I have done everything myself; graphics, marketing, labels, photos, website etc. My support team has been very helpful and patient with me along the way, I am so grateful.

Confidence, authenticity and originality are what set you apart and differentiate you from others. I believe our brands are an extension of who we are as individuals, therefore I seek to always operate with integrity. I stay true to who I am as a person and honor my unique process. I believe staying grounded and connected to the Earth and spirit keeps me in tune with all of the elements outside and within me. I create with and honor natures cycles which keeps me balanced and in Divine alignment. This is energy I desire to resonate in all of my products, may you feel they were made intuitively for you with love and healing intention.

I aim to be of service by not only offering bath and beauty but herbal wellness products that seek to support your health from within. NBU Bath Botanicals is an extension of my foundation, always rooted in Wellness, NEBŪ Wellness LLC.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them for tea, coffee or juice to start the day, maybe to a botanical garden or plant nursery for some fresh morning air and sunshine. We could visit one of my favorite parks on the water and have a picnic with some fresh fruits, juice, music. For the evening, visit one of my favorite Mediterranean or Italian restaurants for some falafel or pasta. End the night with some live music. I love visiting anywhere with a good view, drinks and food!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recognize the Most High Creator and Mother Nature as the Divine light and source of my life. My biggest mirror and reflection. My ancestors who lead, guide, protect and keep me. My family, loved ones and customers who have supported me from the beginning on my journey of entrepreneurship and building NBU Bath Botanicals + NEBŪ Wellness.
