We had the good fortune of connecting with Britany Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Britany, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
One of my favorite quotes is ” Attachments are the root of all suffering”. This is a quote by Buddha. It means so much to me, because whenever I begin to feel uncomfortable or suffer in a situation, I know to mind my attachments. These feelings of unease are indicators that there’s something that I’m obsessing over or attaching to that isn’t healthy. Attachments can be to people or things. They also embody desires and expectations. Materialism and living in the past or future are forms of attaching to physical things. In relationships, attachments appear as codependency; unsecure attachment styles; desires in connecting due to potential in a person or fantasy; or placing expectations on other people. Love is suppose to be free and unconditional. To constrict, control, or attempt to possess another spirit having a human experience is an unhealthy attachment and not love. So if I’m hurt or disappointed by someone or something, I reflect to see where the attachment lies. The reflection reminds me that my power lies within. I own my happiness and success. Everyone has a purpose in life. I’ve stepped into mine as a healer; and on the road to fulfilling this purpose I only want to throw seeds where healthy roots of love and healing will grow.

Healing at The Full Embrace is contagious and we love it!

At the Full Embrace, we believe that everything is connected in the world, and that healing can fully embrace all aspects of life. In a world of trauma it’s important for healing to be shared to shift minds and promote growth globally. This is why our mission is to provide a haven that offers information, tools, and love for the world. Healing should be natural, sustainable, and promoted.

The materials used to make the products at The Full Embrace are all sustainable down to our seeded paper business cards and recycled wrapping paper.

Where did the The Full Embrace Come From:
The Full Embrace is my gift to the healing journey and my way of paying it forward. In my years of living, I experienced many different traumas and the effects they left behind. It was in deep frustration and dissatisfaction with life that I decided to get help. I began trying different healing avenues like grief counseling, hypnotherapy, life coaching and reiki. This would change my life. I felt lucky to have learned how to process and heal my issues. It was unsettling to realize that so many others lacked this information, but that everyone deserved to know for themselves. So I went to school to learn Reiki and Spiritual Life Coaching. I also researched and read on spirituality, natural healing modalities, and grief. I’ve been dedicating my life to healing for 4 and half years now. It’s a rewarding journey that has had it’s challenges and peaks.

It’s challenging in that I often revisit past experiences to show others how to heal. Grief would be the best example of that. Since grief doesn’t go away, I can sometimes have a flare up with grieving my own loved ones. Another challenge is not having enough time to dedicate to the platform. I haven’t been able to yet quit my job as a Scrum Master during the week. So it does limit the time I have to create and support my clients the way I’d prefer.

We have so much more coming upon the horizon of healing…Stay tuned.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m all for natural vibes and shopping! If my friends are vegan then we’d spend the week trying new and favorite vegan spots. There definitely has to be a day for a light lunch or dinner at Cafe Sunflower in Buckhead with some shopping over at Lenox mall. I love the Botanical Garden over in that same area. Some other musts are checking out Slutty Vegan’s bomb burgers, Atlantic station, and some cute lounges to wander into in that area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to recognize the universal law of oneness. This law states “that everything in this world is connected to everything else. Anything we believe, think, do, or say affects the world and the universe around us.” The reason behind this choice is that there isn’t just one person or thing that has had tremendous impact on my life. I’ve been so blessed to meet the most beautiful people in this world. I’ve been given the best advice that they could give me, shown love in the way they were taught and hurt by those who have been hurt themselves. In all of this, I learned, grew, and healed. So thank you to those who are waking up giving what they can, because that’s enough for me and I’ll do the same. All is love and light.
