We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique Andrews and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monique, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
When it comes to my business, YoursTruly Concierge, most people don’t even know what a concierge service is. They may have heard of one that sits at the front of an apartment complex but not to the extent of what I offer. With that being said, it is usually a hurdle that I have to overcome to let others know what I can do for them or ways that they can utilize my services. This is one of the reasons I came up with my catchphrase which is ‘Peace of Mind Delivered.’ Anything you need help with or anything that I can do to help your daily life, let me know and I can help. I’m basically like an all-around problem solver which is something that I personally love to do. Most outsiders are unaware of all of the particular services that I offer because it is so broad but to me, I think it’s beneficial because I’m good at a lot of things so why limit myself when I know I can be offering more.

What should our readers know about your business?
I own a luxury concierge firm called YoursTruly Concierge. We specialize in delivering peace of mind to your everyday life. When I was first getting my business started, I knew I wanted to do something that no one else was doing. I wanted to be able to help people in all the ways I knew how so I was super excited to learn what exactly a concierge could do and the many ways I could brand myself with this business. I am most proud of just making something that people can relate to. Realizing that everyone needs help, no matter who you are, no matter how successful you are, you need help in certain aspects. Some people don’t have those people around them to do the random things that life throws our way, and that is where I come in. I’m like everyone’s personal best friend that they just happen to have on payroll haha. I want the world to know that it’s ok to need help, and it’s ok to ask for help. I want to be able to help you in any way that I can.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a true adventure enthusiast, This is probably the best thing you could have ever asked me. I absolutely love planning days with friends or loved ones and I have all of the perfect date ideas just stored up in my brain so let’s go. Let’s just say that this particular friend has never been to Atlanta before so this is their first time visiting. We would start the day off with some Waffle House because let’s be honest, you cannot come to Atlanta and not go to Waffle House. Then take a trip to All Fired Up which is a pottery painting place that I love in Emory Village to tap into our creative side. After leaving there we would have to take a trip to The BeltLine and look at all of the great graphics and maybe do a nice bike ride through the park, of course taking a stop in Ponce City Market for some King Of Pops and going to the sky lounge to play some games. After leaving there we could get dressed and go out for the night to BQE for Hookah and Red Velvet Waffles (which are the best things since sliced bread). I think my friend would truly enjoy the trip and want to come to Atlanta often.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My biggest attribute to my success would most definitely be God and my village. God continues to amaze me with the things available to me because of Him. There is no way in this world I could have done this on my own. Also, If it were not for the people that were in my inner circle, I know for a fact, I would not be where I am today. My village has helped me with the entire concept of my business from my name to logo creation, business cards, pricing, and more. I will forever be thankful for their support and God’s guidance in my life.
