We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber S and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was basically being true to myself and true to my environment, realizing what is needed in the community and what I could do differently to make it more bright.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Simple, it’s only one me and I am the only one that can do me, so I appreciate my uniqueness as well as others and I wouldn’t ever just compare myself to somebody else because they’re unique in their own way as well. I got to where I am today professionally by just persevering and not ever giving up even when I wanted to, and to say that meaning it wasn’t easy. I had to understand what certain emotions were causing me in my career, what not being happy, balanced and clear could cause me in general self care is important. lessons I’ve learned along the way we’re just about believing in myself and what I wanted to do. I want the world to know that I did it walking with the big GOD, praying, crying and Just not giving up and being happy and positive as much as I could and as much as I can today and tomorrow and forever it’s balance

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Most likely Hudson Grille or cirque, anywhere on Edgewood. It’s all about your preference and your best friends preference, if you know your best friend then you’ll have an easier time knowing where to go. Atlanta has many vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well of course I couldn’t do or be anything without the support system GOD being 1st. I have an abundant love to the people that influence me daily they know who they are. I am thankful for them and organization. I actually would like to put a spotlight on a brand named “Osby” Made by the great YH, who is also an Artist as well, it stands for operation save black youth, it’s for the community simple. Another spot light! Major key! someone that deserves a recognition in my story is prod by stone, Stoneyhenges ! He’s taught me so much about learning the business and all-around tech in the studio, great producer, engineer, very knowledgeable guy. he dedicated to music and for the people. I could go on but later…..
