We had the good fortune of connecting with WhoIzSt33z. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi WhoIzSt33z., why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursed an artistic career because it chose me. I personally feel for any creative there’s just something in us that tells us you just have to trust ya gut, regardless how long it takes. I think when this happens you have to make it up in your mind, this is meant for YOU. I have always searched for a platform that would let me express my creativity with a structure behind it and getting into the barber industry it gave me just that, the possibilities are LIMITLESS (slick overwhelming, 😊). I’ve always had a fascination for enhanced male grooming and truthfully speaking I honestly had no idea how much work really goes into it. MUCH LOVE TO THE VET BARBERS FOR PAVING THE WAY. I SALUTE! #BARBERGANG# ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇ Importantly, when you finally commit this is when the work starts because now you have to find what makes you special, learn how to project that, and give it back!!! Do you trust the process or do you not?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I approach my artistry I try to look at every obstacle as if it is a story within itself. So with each client and their desire cut I try my best to capture that. Currently, this is the thing that I feel sets me apart simply because I’m using my experience from my modeling and acting career and combining it all together. Enrolling in barber school and building a brand has not been easy. The challenges I’ve faced was having to relearn the basics and rebuild my confidence in a world that is now so new. The greatest reward is that I finally get to do it my way and show it from different perspectives! The biggest lessons I have learned along the way is to have patience, trust your journey, and trust yourself. Everything starts with you. St33z.co, which the true meaning behind it is Style with Eaze. This was built off of me learning and accepting who I was. I brought me to the table regardless if it was career, fashion, education, etc I just allowed it to come, effortlessly. It’s funny how when we’re pretending to be something that were not there is so much added pressure you did know existed until the day you chose to be yourself. So when you sit in the chair just be you and whatever ya st33z is, show that!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
