Meet Justin Spizman

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Spizman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, what do you attribute your success to?
There is no version of Justin Spizman’s job that he takes lightly. His clients come to him when the stakes are real, their freedom is at risk, and the outcome of their case will define what comes next.
As Managing Partner of The Spizman Firm, Spizman has tried over 200 cases to verdict in Georgia’s State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. His practice centers on high-stakes DUI and criminal defense, the cases where the outcome changes everything, careers, families, freedom.
When prosecutors sit across the table from Spizman, they know they’re not dealing with an attorney angling for a quick plea. They’re dealing with someone who will try the case. That reputation creates leverage, and that leverage gets results.
A former Fulton County prosecutor, Spizman understands how the other side thinks, how cases are built, and exactly where they fall apart. He works hard to resolve cases smartly and early when the terms are right, but when they’re not, he goes to trial without hesitation. His cases have drawn coverage from nearly every major media outlet, locally and nationally, because the work he does and the clients he represents carry real weight.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At The Spizman Firm, our Atlanta criminal defense and DUI lawyers have spent decades defending people throughout Atlanta and the state of Georgia against criminal and drunk driving charges. We understand that behind every arrest is a human being with a family, a career, and a future worth protecting. That understanding drives us to pursue every possible defense, challenge every piece of evidence, and fight relentlessly to achieve the best possible outcome in every case we handle.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A weekend of hiking, restaurants, and a suite box at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for an Atlanta Falcons game.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Family. When he’s not in court, he’s recharging his wife, his two daughters, and his dog Bodhi.
