Meet Noah French | VFX artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah French and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
It was a tough decision to pursue a creative career. I had been doing exceptionally well in event production for corporate work and had even started to build a strong network of clients. However, I realized that my work lacked genuine meaning and felt empty. So, I decided to transition into learning VFX to contribute to the creation of interesting and diverse environments and effects that make up all the different media we enjoy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work in virtual production and Vfx simulations revolves around enhancing the believability of actions and events across various areas, including film, animation, and video games. Visuals are a pivotal role in captivating audiences, and I strive to create them as engaging and captivating as possible.
The journey for me to be where I am now wasn’t devoid of challenges. There were setbacks, doubts, and numerous lessons learned through failure. However, i persevered and gradually developed an attitude of trust towards the process. I am proud of my progress and I am anticipating all the opportunities that lie ahead.
Its my hope that people recognize the passion and dedication I bring to my work. My goal is to create not only visually appealing content but also authentic and emotional.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a newcomer to Atlanta, having only lived in the city for about two years. However, one activity that I always enjoy is visiting the Georgia Aquarium. I find it incredibly beautiful because it houses such diversity of life from around the world in a single location. I took my nieces there last year and it really is amazing being able to see such young minds be blown away by what they can see there. You can spend hours simply observing and learning about the amazing creatures there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family is the sole reason I’m able to pursue my career. Their encouragement has been instrumental to me. From my parents, Elisa and Michael French, to my brothers Joshua, Caleb, and Jacob, their support has been invaluable. I would not be able to do this without their belief in me.
