We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Bond and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk has been a defining force in my life. I see it as inseparable from growth and transformation. Often, those who take the biggest risks do so because they feel they have no other choice—they’re on the edge, chasing something bigger than comfort or tradition.

For me, taking risks has meant moving between states, letting go of relationships, and gambling with money and time—all in pursuit of becoming who I am. These experiences shaped not just where I am, but how I think. I move with both calculation and courage.

Risk is probability, not recklessness. Knowing your limits is just as important as pushing past your fears.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from most people I meet is that I have a hand in every part of the production process. I produce my own instrumentals, mix and master the tracks, direct and edit the music videos, and handle the publishing and marketing myself. I even take the time to personally seek out outreach opportunities.

I’m not just an artist—I’m involved at every level, from the creative to the business side. That full-spectrum control gives me a deeper connection to my work and a unique edge in how it’s presented to the world.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no control freak though, I believe in checks and balance. I just happen to do all of this because no one else would do it for me unless I paid, and I’ve been broke since I was born. Also, I genuinely enjoy doing everything I do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am from Columbus, Ohio. I moved here about 3 months ago, I would show them my home because I don’t know anywhere else to be frank. We would eat in my kitchen, drink in the kitchen, visit the living room and hangout in the living room until he left. In my view some of the most interesting, exciting people to check out is anyone with a vision. Places worth checking out? perhaps anywhere where networking is more feasible.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shout out to Chrix Dvnte (Aaron Cook) and Hamisi Johnson for granting me the time and freedom to be the ultimate me and giving me something to fight for.

I’d also like to shout out my book: “The Goat Joat” by Antonio D’wayne Aaleick Bond. A self help book for all young adults looking for a true guide to growth.
