Meet Michelle Zinney

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Zinney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
One of my greatest goals moving forward is to create an advanced educational center focused on training professionals in cutting-edge, science-backed aesthetic techniques. This includes advanced laser treatments, radiofrequency microneedling, and most importantly, the proper use of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) and a patient’s own growth factors for facial aesthetics. I’m especially passionate about creating opportunities for the Latina population—both as clients and as providers. In this industry, there’s often a rush to jump into the latest trends without the proper foundation or clinical understanding, and that can lead to inconsistent results or even harm. My mission is to change that by offering hands-on, in-depth training that prioritizes safety, efficacy, and respect for the science behind the treatments. I want to empower estheticians, nurses, and medical professionals—especially fellow Latinas—with the tools, confidence, and knowledge they need to truly excel and elevate the standard of care in our communities.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Michelle Zinney: A Visionary in Aesthetic and Wellness Innovation
Michelle Zinney, originally from the vibrant country of Panama, relocated to the United States 23 years ago and embarked on a distinguished 20-year career as a surgical assistant in the dental field. During this time, she met her husband, Dr. William Zinney, a pioneering dental surgeon and facial aesthetics. Through her work alongside him, Michelle gained deep insights into facial anatomy and the transformative power of using a patient’s own growth factors to regenerate bone and soft tissue. She observed firsthand the rapid and significant tissue regeneration achieved with these methods, which led her to explore the potential applications of these techniques beyond oral surgery.
Michelle’s curiosity sparked an innovative idea: the use of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) for facial aesthetics. Though initially met with skepticism by the dental community Michelle’s unwavering determination to explore the possibilities drove her to conduct extensive research and connect with experts worldwide. Her journey led her to Dr. Niakoupoulos, a female periodontist in Greece who was pioneering the use of PRF in facial aesthetics. Their collaboration ignited Michelle’s passion and solidified her commitment to revolutionizing the aesthetic field.
To bring her vision to life, Michelle chose to become a licensed esthetician and laser specialist, opting for a direct path to her goals rather than the longer routes of nursing or physician assistant training. She opened a small medical spa in Big Canoe, GA, where she quickly built expertise in advanced aesthetic techniques. Determined to offer the best possible treatments, Michelle invested in her first advanced laser system, the Fotona Dynamis—often referred to as the “Ferrari of lasers.” This sophisticated technology not only delivers transformative facial lifting results from within the mouth, but also offers a variety of other treatments, including hair restoration, 4D lifting, neck tightening, body sculpting, and hair removal.
Michelle’s dedication to making advanced, non-invasive aesthetic treatments accessible to a wider audience led her to expand her practice to Milton, GA, where she founded Zinovations Aesthetics and Longevity Medical Spa. Through her expertise and passion for cutting-edge technologies, Michelle introduced state-of-the-art treatments such as Fotona 4D, BTL Emface, Exion Radio frequency microneedling, EMSculpt Neo, Emfemme 360 and the Emsella Chair for sexual health, bringing a new level of beauty and wellness care to the region. With this expansion, Michelle ensured that residents of Milton and surrounding areas could access world-class treatments without having to travel to large metropolitan cities.
For Michelle, this venture is about more than just offering aesthetic treatments—it is about reshaping the way people approach self-care. Her mission is to create a welcoming, compassionate environment where clients can access transformative, non-invasive treatments that deliver real results with minimal downtime. By offering services typically reserved for major cities, she has made advanced aesthetic care accessible to her community.
In addition to her work in aesthetics, Michelle collaborates closely with her husband, Dr. William Zinney, to integrate natural therapies aimed at rejuvenating the face and body. Dr. Zinney’s expertise in using growth factors derived from the patient’s own blood to regenerate tissues has made him a leader in facial aesthetics. Furthermore, Michelle works alongside Dr. James Haley, a double-board-certified OB/GYN specializing in menopause, to offer comprehensive hormone therapy. Under Dr. Haley’s guidance, Zinovations provides personalized treatments that promote hormonal balance and optimize overall wellness.
A respected educator and lecturer in the fields of lasers and advanced technologies, Michelle frequently shares her knowledge with medical professionals nationwide, helping to advance the industry and expand the reach of non-invasive aesthetic treatments. She holds certifications as a Licensed Esthetician, Assistant Laser Practitioner, Nationally Certified Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and is certified in PRF and PCA Skin. In addition, Michelle holds an MBA in Tourism, further enhancing her approach to client care and business management.
Driven by a relentless commitment to excellence, innovation, and compassionate care, Michelle has become a leading figure in the aesthetic and wellness community. By bringing the latest non-invasive treatments to Milton, she has empowered her clients to take control of their health and appearance, helping them live their healthiest, most vibrant lives—all while staying close to home.
Michelle’s broader vision includes the creation of an educational center where providers can learn advanced aesthetic techniques and explore the latest in non-invasive technologies. This initiative aims to foster continuous learning and elevate industry standards, ensuring that practitioners across the country have access to the tools and knowledge necessary to offer the best possible care to their clients. Through this commitment to education, Michelle strives to leave a lasting legacy, empowering other professionals to expand their expertise and contribute to the ongoing evolution of aesthetic medicine.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My primary challenge has been advocating for the integration of facial aesthetics with dentistry within the dental community. However, after two decades of effort, an increasing number of dentists are beginning to recognize the significant benefits of this approach.
