We had the good fortune of connecting with Najah Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Najah, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
I would have to say the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make business wise was the decision to stay 100% self employed after being let go from my full time job back in 2018. Of course I panicked for the first 2 months like any normal person would. I updated my resume, started forwarding it to all of my friends & family that were in positions to pass it along. Started filling out every online application I could find & even got a few call backs for interviews. After much thought & prayer I turned it all down & made the decision to commit to my brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our products at Pure Fanatics can best be described with 3 words. Simple, Natural, Pure. We strive to help women & men look good & smell good by using natural ingredients. Our limited, yet simple, list of oils provides an at home spa experience to each of our customers with each use. And all products contain the purest of contents.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well seeing that I’m from Philadelphia our first stop would be Ishakabibbles on South Street for a cheesesteak. Since we’re already close we would go to Penn’s Landing for ice skating in the winter or some Spruce Harbor roller skating in the summer. From there we would stop at my favorite, Rita’s, for water ice & a pretzel. To get a real feel for the city we would spend the most part visiting family to see all the different neighborhoods within Philly. Of course we would have to eat at a few spots within the Reading Terminal. And no one visits Philly without running the “Rocky steps” aka The Art Museum steps & seeing the Liberty Bell.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mastermind group, for always supporting & pushing me to go hard. Dominique, Sheretta, Sherelle & Lauren
