We had the good fortune of connecting with Harley Pogue and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Harley, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been an unwavering passion for what I do. I’ve always believed that passion can carry you further than ambition alone. Dreams are powerful, but bringing them to life takes more than just inspiration—it requires relentless dedication, self-discipline, and heart.

As a single mother to a little boy, that passion has taken on a whole new meaning. He’s my greatest motivation. I want to make him proud—not just by achieving success, but by showing him what it looks like to build a life rooted in purpose. I grew up watching my father work jobs to provide for us, and while I’ll always respect that kind of work ethic, I want my son to witness what it means to pursue a career that lights you up from the inside. That’s the legacy I hope to leave for him.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a multiracial woman and single mom, building my femmepire hasn’t been easy—but it’s been worth every step. I started with a vision and a lot of heart, and I’ve poured that into creating something intentional, elevated, and impactful.

What sets my brand apart is simple: we lead with excellence, and we show up as your biggest fan. My brand is luxury—it’s sleek, it’s smart, and it’s deeply personal. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for everyone who’s believed in me along the way.

At the end of the day, I want people to know this brand was built with intention. It was never about me winning—it’s always been about lifting up every brand I have the privilege to work with.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live OTP, so we’d definitely spend time at Avalon—shopping, people-watching, and grabbing dinner at Rumi’s Kitchen (a must!).

We’d also explore downtown Alpharetta—it’s full of charm, with great spots like Citizen Soul and South Main Kitchen, and can’t forget Mercantile Social after dark!

For a city day, we’d hit Ponce City Market, stroll the BeltLine, and definitely hit west midtown for Little Sparrow.

Great food, great vibes, and even better company—that’s the perfect week in my book.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely—so much of who I am and where I am today is thanks to the people and places that shaped me. First and foremost, my dad deserves the biggest shoutout. He raised me on his own and showed me what it means to work hard, stay grounded, and keep showing up no matter what. He didn’t just provide—he led by example, and that strength has stayed with me every step of the way.

And above all, my greatest inspiration is my son, Greyson. Becoming a mother changed everything for me. He’s the reason I dream bigger, push harder, and show up fully. Every move I make now is with him in mind—I just want to make him proud and show him what’s possible when you lead with passion and purpose.
