We had the good fortune of connecting with Frederick Woodard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frederick, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Entrepreneurship was the goal. Coming from where I’m from, it was hard owning your own business or owning your own anything. All my friends got they money from the streets so negativity was all I seen coming up. I wanted to defy the odds basically.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well me personally, I’m simple. I like to do basic things like picnics, shoot pool, read. I’m not a club type on my down time cause when I’m working I’m always in a venue so I like the laid back things as much as possible. I don’t drink or smoke so that wouldn’t be in the itinerary.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, God. Without God nothing that goes on with me will be possible. 2nd I want to thank my mom. She stand strong with me through thick and thin. Next I want to give thanks to my kids. When they came in to my life, it strived me to do better. First the Quran made me a humble human being. 2nd, Robert Kiorski’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad gave me a vision of entrepreneurship that at first I took for granted. So I challenge anyone to pick up both of those
