Meet Chace Parker | Model, Creative, Designer, Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chace Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chace, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I first Started My own Business I was about 14/15 years old so, my thought process was really just to have fun with it and create something that would leave a print of me if I were to
ever not be here. I wanted to
showcase to other
that 1. They’re more than capable of doing whatever it is they put their minds to, me being an example a 15 year old girl with an entire functioning brand, as well as to Showcase my own inner talents . Those of which I would often discredit myself for when in private . I always wanted to create something i always loved creating ever since a child i’ve had mini sewing sets, jewelry making sets, I would paint canvases or anything i could find to paint honestly because I’ve just always been a creator.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As far as my work goes, i’m Working on it 😂
I have managed to always keep a job and some form of forward motion because that’s who I am, and Who my parents always taught me to be. So at this point in life I work my regular job i like things like reception/ serving so i’ve been back and forth between those two while using those funds to pour back into my clothing brand and my modeling career, I have been fortunate enough to make a little revenue from modeling but I’m working to get to the point where my clothing brand once it Re-Launches this December and my Modeling jobs will replace the income from my day to day and move me to a place where that is the only work i’m doing . I also happen to be a real estate agent so, if you need any property you know who to call😂a jack of every trade indeed.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So, I am not technically an Atlanta native but I have been here over 10 years now, so I’d like to think I know a few good places.

First I would probably want to take them to my favorite little
bistro Fresh Treats In decatur off glenwood.
I was first introduced to fresh treats by my aunt who also lives here now she’s a foodie and a pretty worldly woman all around so she always knew where to go . We’re all originally from florida so i’m used to good Seafood and i can’t lie moving to georgia I haven’t had a lot of real good seafood, so I’d probably take them to my Family restaurant to get some real authentic florida seafood and some of the best drinks out at TheCrabTraphouse
This is a business my father and I started together also around the same time i wanted to start my business, I was about 15 when i first started cooking and selling plates from home of authentic seafood with my dad. There’s one drink in particular everyone loves me included and it’s by the name of the BBL , make sure yall try that out but I would add an extra shot of tequila🤣it’s only a 1oz pour . For fun, I would definetly want to go out to piedmont park and get some drinks/or have a picnic and read I can be quite a simple lady at times, I also love love love the high museum of art in downtown atl That would be one of my first stops I always enjoy the new exhibits of art shown and the vibes there always so nice . Now at the end of the night , I would want to take them to mjq for a fun night out, hands down my favorite fail safe club to go and have a good time at the end of a long day .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to
shoutout my sister, when I was in a place of complete discouragement and almost gave up
on my creative passions all together my older sister @mina.wavii on instagram has always been the angel in my ear on my shoulder telling me to keep going even asking me to style her and getting me motivated to get back into that mode
