We had the good fortune of connecting with Krazey Jakey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krazey, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
It’s all about connections. It’s sad to say it but you can have all the talent in the world and still not make it!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a songwriter! I love to write songs about the real life struggles we face and how I overcome them. I write faith based mental health recovery music.

It’s a tough market for a faith based mental health recovery rapper BUT IT’S ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING THINGS I’VE EVER DONE! At times it’s hard to find shows for this genre of music but God has blessed me with 2 out of state private rehab shows in the last 12 months!

As an artist you also have to be a content creator now. Over the last 3 years I’ve developed several social media platforms with one purpose and that’s to bring hope. People reach out to me weekly to tell me I’m making a difference in their lives and I’m very proud of that!

It hasn’t been an easy journey but I’m forever grateful for the hardships I’ve had to endure to make it to where I’m at today!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When family and friends visit we like to welcome them with a home cooked meal! If we’re site seeing and grabbing a meal I’d take them to the Public House Of Dahlonega.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give all credit to Jesus Christ because he led me to the team I’ve got now!

When I think of these shoutouts my fiancée comes to mind first! She’s supported me every step of the way with my artistry and I couldn’t have done it without her.

I’d like to give a shoutout to my producer 2Geez! I met him 3 years ago and in that time we’ve released over 30 public tracks and 2 private albums. The albums have funded 2 private out of state rehab shows for us.

My last shoutout would have to be my cameraman Darren! He shot my first music video with the help of my friend Chris and he’s helped us find new people to add to our videography team.
