We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeff “Mula” Mundy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeff “Mula”, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The habits that helped me succeed are my consistency, adaptability, strategic thinking, networking, and creative vision.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career journey has been fueled by a passion for hip-hop, sports, sneakers, & street-wear.

I am most proud of the campaigns I have worked on for top artists such as Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, Migos, and brand activations I have been apart planning & executing with Nike. I got to where I’m at today professionally through a combination of passion, adaptability, and perseverance. Starting as a music enthusiast, I quickly developed a knack for digital marketing and creative strategy, which led me to work with major brands, record labels, and sports figures.

It wasn’t always easy—I faced challenges like relocating to a new city, breaking into a competitive industry, and constantly evolving with market trends. Overcoming these obstacles required continuous learning, networking, and a focus on delivering results. I want the world to know that my brand is all about bridging the gap between culture and creativity. My goal is to continue pushing boundaries, creating meaningful content, and being influencing to the next generation of visionaries like myself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
On Monday, we’d kick off with breakfast at my favorite spot West Egg, explore West Midtown, then hit spots like Puttshack, Sandbox VR, or an escape room, ending the night at Holiday Bar, DrawBar, or Ormsby’s. Tuesday would be all about tacos and tequila at RREAL Tacos on Northside Drive. Wednesday, we’d gear up for HILLS4ATL at Piedmont Park, followed by drinks at the outdoor Park Tavern. Thursday would be a Buckhead day with shopping at Lenox Mall and lunch with hookah at Kabob Land. Friday’s focus would be on catching a concert or live music. Saturday would be spent on the BeltLine, starting at Lady Bird, with stops at Breaker Breaker and BrewDog. Sunday would wrap up with a Falcons game, then dining at Restaurant Ten, and finishing at Escobar Lounge.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Who deserves credit & recognition in my story is my family back in Cincinnati. From the very beginning of my journey they have always showed me the utmost love & support that has guided me to reach the level I am currently at in my career. Without their constant encouragement over the past years there is no way I would be where I’m at today.
