Hi Jasmin (Jazzie), we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I made the decision to start my small business selling my baked goods, I initially found myself uncertain about where to begin. Lacking knowledge of the process, I was intimidated by the unfamiliar territory. I struggled to find the right resources and guidance, which was one of the most challenging aspects. Building a business is undoubtedly stressful and can feel overwhelming at times, but I’ve learned that time and patience are key. These qualities allow you to grow your brand and establish your business in a way that aligns with your vision.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets my baked goods apart is the unique combination of intricate 3D designs and flavors, creating a memorable experience for any event or celebration. My Journey to this point has been driven by a commitment and passion to continuous learning and self-improvement, which is what I am most proud of. Through persistent experimentation and process of trial and error, I’ve honed my craft, ensuring that each creation meets the highest standards of both artistry and taste. While self teaching presents its Challenges, it has allowed me to refine my skills and push the boundaries of what I can achieve every day. I’ve learned the importance of perseverance, continuous growth, and pushing forward, no matter the Challenges. I want to share with the world that success comes from staying true to yourself . My brand is a reflection of this belief- every flavor and design I create is crafted with care and attention, infused with passion and authenticity.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am originally from Los Angeles, California, so I am going to start there. One of my Favorite spots to go any day and time is the beach. It’s a destination that never disappoints. The beach offers the perfect vibe no matter what time of year it is. At the beach you can relax on the sand and enjoy the ocean. with a wide variety of dining options nearby, its easy to grab a bite while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re there for the views or to people watch, the beach truly captures the essence of LA living. As for Atlanta my new home, The Botanical Garden stands out as a beautiful and serene destination, It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail with friends, share some laughs, and walk around to unwind in a relaxing atmosphere. Another favorite spot is Stone Mountain Park, which offers both a peaceful environment and an opportunity for outdoor activity. Whether you’re looking to take in breathtaking city views or enjoy a leisurely day outdoors, Stone Mountain provides a well-rounded experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Passion for baking originated with my Grandmother, Mary E. Parks, who would often bake cakes and let me assist her in the process. Those early experiences sparked my interest in baking and set the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion. As a naturally creative person, I’ve always been drawn to artistic expression, whether through drawing, painting, or crafting with my hands. I developed an artistic vision at an early age, and I eventually combined that creativity with my love for baking. Today, I channel those two passions into what I do best: Creating edible art.
