We had the good fortune of connecting with Chaela Bre Ahari and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chaela Bre Ahari, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Soul Purge was founded by my mom Lala Inuti Ahari. Once she decided to start another business, her spiritual candle business The Conjure, she gave Soul Purge to me while I was still in college. She taught me everything from how to do spiritual cleansings to protection work while she was running Soul Purge. I felt ready to take on entrepreneurship after shadowing my mom for years and learning how to run a business. Once I took over Soul Purge, I continued to grow and expand it, and 4 years later, Soul Purge has reached thousands of people worldwide and has changed many lives.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Soul Purge is a business that specializes in spiritual services that cater to personal growth and development. Services such as spiritual cleansings, healing energy work, soul tie removals and many more are done through the use of energy work similar to reiki healing. This allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level and remove spiritual blockages which may help open doors to changes and even help them manifest their desires. What sets me apart from others is that my work is purely energetic and is done remotely, allowing me to deliver fast results to my clients worldwide. That doesn’t mean that this didn’t still come with challenges, spiritual businesses that offer energy work have always been a target for scammers and frauds to use to take money from individuals who use their hard earned money to pay for services to bring peace to their lives, only to be scammed. There have been many cases of scammers using my name to steal peoples money, and I had to take action to get fake pages reported and taken down. I take pride in what I do and making sure I separate my practices from scammers by offering reputable payment systems and great customer service to ensure my clients feel secure and get their desired results. There have been many challenges and many challenges have been overcome through my dedication to providing the best quality work for my clients. It has also been very difficult to market my business through social media ads, so most of my clients have come through word of mouth from a family or friend. This has been a blessing for me, and also proof that I can overcome anything as long as I remain authentic in what I do. I am most excited for Soul Purge to continue to grow and change more lives through my services. I want the world to know that your spiritual health is important, and that can play a role in why some may experience blockages in their finances, love life and even personal development. When people start taking charge of their spiritual wellness they will notice their lives truly change for the better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was in town, we would definitely have to go to Chateau Elan, which is where I get some of my favorite local wines from. It’s a lovely winery where we would do some wine tasting, I’ve been there many times so I would mostly likely taste my favorite wines already. We can chill by the vineyard and catch some sunlight while sipping wine. Maybe get a massage at the spa as well and relax. Another amazing place to check out is phoenix and dragons, which is my favorite metaphysical store. I love to go there to see what’s new because they switch things up every now and then, I always go in the corner section with the esoteric books and I sit near the shelf with the locked books and casually read whatever they have locked (it’s locked for a reason so I’m curious). I might even pet a cat if it passes by. Phoenix and dragons is a cute little shop but feels like home to me, I love to spend time in bookstores (Barnes and nobles is a close second). If I want something to eat while I’m in the city I’ll go for some char broiled oysters from Louisiana Bistreux, it’s the closest I can get to the amazing oysters I had in New Orleans. Now I can get very close while I’m home. If it’s sunny outside, I would go to somewhere I consider a hidden gem in my hometown, even though it’s in plain sight. We would go to Suwanee Town Center, and depending on the day there would be food trucks out, live music playing in the middle of the park and lots of people to interact with. It’s a small community but is very lively and interactive. I like to go there when I’ve spent too much time in the city, it takes me back to my roots. I’ll get some frozen yogurt there too, my favorite froyo is cookies and cream with crushed Oreos and m&ms on top. I just like to relax at the park and walk around eating my froyo on a hot day, then leave once it gets dark. I would say these are my top places to go to, and they’re all very special to me in different ways.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give as much credit as possible to my mom Lala Inuti Ahari, for teaching me everything I need to know about running a business. She is one of my greatest inspirations and still a mentor to me to this day in business and my personal life.
