We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynne Wangoi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynne, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My decision to start my own business stemmed from my passion for singing and content creation. I wanted to turn what I love into something that could grow and impact others, while also allowing me to express my creativity and be independent.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
About My Art:

Music has always been my passion, a part of me that I can’t live without. My journey in the music industry has been filled with countless ups and downs—auditions, rejections, and tough lessons. There were moments when I felt like giving up, thinking maybe this path wasn’t meant for me. When I first started, I had a naïve vision that everything would just fall into place quickly, but reality hit hard. I realized that the road to success in music is much longer and more challenging than I ever imagined.

In those tough moments, I kept growing and evolving. I began to understand that music is about so much more than just being on TV, singing with others, or traveling. It’s about uplifting people, giving them hope, and touching lives in a meaningful way. I’ve come to believe that if I can reach even just a few people and help them feel alive through my music, then I’m fulfilling my true purpose. Our destinies are intertwined, and being able to inspire others is more valuable to me than any of the superficial rewards.

Content creation naturally became a part of my journey as I started traveling and experiencing things I never imagined. Coming from a family that didn’t have the means to travel, I found content creation to be a way to share my experiences with them. Instead of just telling stories when I got home, I began recording videos, editing them, and letting my family enjoy the journey with me. My little sister and mom love watching these videos, and it makes me so happy to bring a piece of the world to them.

I dream of one day taking my entire family—there are six of us in total—around the world to experience everything firsthand. Music and content creation go hand in hand for me. Through both, I’m able to show people, especially my family, that it’s okay to dream big. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m embracing every step of the journey, savoring every experience, and using my art to inspire others to do the same.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

If we’re feeling extra adventurous, we can ride quad bikes in the dunes. After this exhilarating day, we’ll head back to relax and order in some burgers and fries from Five Guys.

Wednesday:
We’ll start the day with a traditional Arabic breakfast at Souq Waqif, then explore the local shops and pick up some Arabic perfumes. The souq is full of unique finds and a true cultural experience. In the evening, we’ll take a bus tour around the city to see Doha lit up at night—it’s absolutely breathtaking. We’ll end the day with a dinner date at Texas Roadhouse, where the steak variety is fantastic, and the fresh orange juice is a refreshing treat.

Thursday:
A visit to the iconic Qatar National Museum is a must! We’ll spend the day soaking in the culture and history. After that, we’ll hop on the metro and head to the Mall of Qatar, where we’ll explore its impressive architecture and shop some more. We’ll grab coffee at one of the many cute cafes, and maybe later, we’ll catch a movie to wind down.

For our last day, we’ll visit Little Venice in Qatar, a charming spot that’s perfect for a relaxed stroll. We’ll end the trip with a delicious meal at a Korean BBQ restaurant, savoring the unique flavors of their cuisine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to My Mom and Husband

I want to take a moment to celebrate two incredible people in my life: my mom and my husband. You both have been such strong pillars, holding everything together with grace and determination. Your hard work and dedication inspire me every single day. Nothing ever stops you from doing what needs to be done, and you always put family first with such selfless love and care.

The way you tirelessly give of yourselves, balancing everything with such strength, makes me strive to be better every day. I’m so blessed to have you both in my life, and I hope to live up to the amazing examples you set—or maybe even surpass them one day, haha!
