Hi Latoya, what matters most to you?
As a curvy content creator and influencer, one of the values that matters most to me is authenticity. Authenticity is at the core of everything I do because I believe in representing real people with real bodies and real experiences.

In a world where social media often showcases curated and filtered versions of reality, I strive to be genuine and transparent in my content. I want my audience to see themselves reflected in my posts and feel empowered by the authenticity of my journey.

Authenticity fosters connection and trust between myself and my followers. By sharing my own struggles and successes, I aim to create a safe space where people can relate, support each other, and feel less alone in their own journeys towards self-acceptance and body positivity.

Moreover, authenticity is not just about being true to oneself; it’s also about advocating for inclusivity and representation in media and beyond. By staying true to who I am and uplifting diverse voices and bodies, I hope to inspire positive change and contribute to a more inclusive and accepting society.

My art is a multifaceted expression of creativity that encompasses both fashion and baking. As the owner of Plush Tingz apparel, I specialize in creating inclusive and stylish high quality, streetwear for curvy individuals, celebrating diversity and self-expression. Simultaneously, as the proprietor of Kerry’s Kakes, a freelance cake design studio based in Atlanta, I channel my passion for baking into crafting custom-designed cakes that are not only visually stunning but also tell a unique story with each bite.

What sets me apart from others is my dedication to infusing each creation with authenticity, passion, and a personal touch. Whether I’m designing a new clothing line for Plush Tingz or conceptualizing a custom cake for a client, I prioritize craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every piece reflects my commitment to quality and creativity.

My journey to where I am today professionally has been anything but easy, filled with challenges and obstacles along the way. Even today, I still struggle to make sales at times, however I keep striving forward. I keep promoting. I keep believing that one day I will be a multi million dollar brand. Believing that God is leading my path while I manifest my dreams.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned along the way is the importance of authenticity and staying true to myself and my vision. By embracing my unique perspective and talents, I’ve been able to carve out a niche for myself in both the fashion and baking industries, earning recognition and respect for my work.

Ultimately, what I want the world to know about me and my brands is that they are a reflection of my unwavering commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and empowerment. Whether through fashion or baking, my goal is to inspire others to embrace their individuality, celebrate their uniqueness, and pursue their passions fearlessly. Together, through Plush Tingz Apparel and Kerry’s Kakes, I hope to spread joy, positivity, and creativity to people everywhere.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for the weekend, I would ensure they experience all the rich offerings the city has to offer. Here’s a sample itinerary:

**Day 1: Friday – Arrival and City Exploration**

– Head to my favorite Mexican Restaurant, The Border located on Cobb Parkway for lunch. The best authentic Mexican food in my opinion.
– After lunch, explore the iconic Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site to learn about the civil rights leader’s legacy.
– In the evening, dine at The Optimist for fresh seafood in a lively atmosphere

**Day 2: Saturday – Cultural Immersion and Nightlife**

– Start the day with a visit to the High Museum of Art to explore its impressive collection of art spanning from classic to contemporary. For content creators, this is a perfect place to take pictures as well utilizing the great artwork as a backdrop.
– Enjoy lunch at Ponce City Market, sampling a variety of gourmet options from the food hall.
– Later in the afternoon, take a guided tour of the Atlanta BeltLine, a revitalized railway corridor featuring public art installations and scenic trails.
– As the evening sets in, savor dinner at Rock Steady Atlanta, a stylish restaurant known for its Caribbean dishes. Afterward, experience Atlanta’s vibrant nightlife scene at establishments like Suite Lounge or at the Battery.

**Day 3: Sunday – Outdoor Adventures and Farewell**

– Start the day with a Atlanta Breakfast Club for a delicious brunch experience featuring Southern-inspired breakfast classics with a modern twist.
