Meet Josh Dixon: Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Josh Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Josh, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The people you keep around you & the risks you take. It’s important you have solid people in your corner, not yes men but people that keep you in line and have your best interest at heart. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I had been singing since a child so I started making music about what I go through or what others go through and just sing it. Most excited about doing things my way and being able to have success even though I am a independent artist. Any challenges I ever had I overcame them by learning from the L’s I took and making them wins. Everyone take losses but if you learn from them and go harder the Wins will come and keep coming.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend come here I would take them to a few spots, We would hit cheetah fasho, blaze, blue flame, a cougar lounge might even take them out to a hookah spot in Gwinnett.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely would wanna dedicate my shoutout to my beautiful sister Apryl Dixon who I lost on Jan 25th, 2018 to cancer. Everyday she watching over me, making me go a lil harder.
