We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Hurmence and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I was laid off from my previous coaching job, it was a wake-up call. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and knew deep down that I wanted to start my own business someday. So, instead of letting the setback get me down, I decided to turn it into an opportunity. Starting my own business not only allows me to pursue my passion for coaching but also gives me the freedom to chart my own course and create a more stable future for myself. It’s been a journey filled with challenges and growth, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a health coach with a background in functional medicine and my own personal health transformation story, I take pride in offering holistic solutions to my clients’ health challenges. What sets me apart is my commitment to addressing the root causes of health issues rather than just managing symptoms. I’m most excited about the transformative impact I’ve seen in my clients’ lives, from overcoming chronic conditions to achieving vibrant health and vitality. My end goal is always a better quality of life for clients.

My journey to where I am today has been anything but easy. Building my business required a willingness to learn and adapt to highs and lows on a daily basis. I faced challenges along the way, from navigating the entrepreneurship itself to overcoming self-doubt and imposter syndrome.

Through it all, I’ve learned the importance of resilience, patience, and staying true to my values and mission. I’ve discovered the power of building meaningful connections with my clients and community, and the importance of continuing my education.

Ultimately, I want the world to know that my brand is more than just a business—it’s me. I hope people see that I strive to empower women to take care of their bodies and in return get to achieve their life goals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Novis Health, EuPure, and Ryan Valencic were so instrumental in helping me with coaching experience, confidence building, and helping me navigate my first year of business. They have give me the foundation I needed to build my dream life.
