Meet Jeremy Hall | HBCU Student & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most significant factor behind my success is faith. I do believe in destiny, but no luck, only a profound trust in effort and opportunity, where my actions align with a larger cosmic rhythm. Faith fuels the audacity to dream beyond conventional boundaries, to challenge norms, and to persevere when the odds seem insurmountable. Like most driven individuals, at some point in life, they are in a weird limbo where they know being successful is in their blood, but they are not successful yet. In other words, you’re in a stage where you know what your life will be, but reality has yet to catch up. Faith will give you the motivation and ambition to persevere during these times.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Please tell us more about your career. I am an HBCU Student at Morehouse College, majoring in biology and minoring in finance. I am also the CEO and Founder of Luminary Pathways, an AI-automated robot that assists students in making true-to-life decisions when investing in their futures.
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about.
My ability to turn negative criticism into positive feedback and my undeniable drive to excel in every human endeavor separate me from others. My friends and business partners, whom I’ve worked with and spoken to, have the same mindset, and it’s great to be around them. I’m most proud of my journey as of right now. Previously, when I was younger, I could not imagine half the areas of life I’ve conquered, especially coming from someone who grew up with a speech impediment and confidence issues. I’m most excited for what’s next to come. I’m only a sophomore in college, and I have a long way to go. However, seeing the motivation in the younger generation of kids to become entrepreneurs by starting their own online businesses, social media marketing agencies, and clothing brands brings joy to the eyes because of their hard work at such a young age.
How did you get to where you are today professionally? Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
Getting to where I am today has been a voyage that is now nearly finished. However, three things that have propelled me to where I am today are my belief in God, my faith, and my drive. Various challenges emerged – financial constraints, daunting competition, and the inevitable self-doubt accompanying any pursuit of significance. The ease with which others might perceive success was a mirage, but I knew my journey demanded a tenacious spirit and an unyielding commitment to the vision.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Some lessons that I’ve learned along the way include
The biggest lie told is “It’s not that simple,” when in reality it is. Create a list of goals, choose a date you wish to accomplish them by, and get to work.
In life, you do not get what you pray for but what you justly earn. The scripture phrase “faith without works is dead” is true. No matter how many times you hope for something, no results will show. Results will only show if the work is completed.
Utilize the phrase “I will” in every action you do or inspire to do. Those two words represent present tense, and you’ll be surprised by the effect “I will” has on your life if you plan your day using it every day.
Have faith and trust. Often in life, we meet challenges, have disagreements, and make decisions that can affect our state of mind at that moment, causing doubt and uncertainty. However, if you continue to propel forward, disregarding societal norms, you will be successful.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
My story is no different than no one elses. I believe everyone in todays society is all working toward the same goal, but what separates us is time. Time is the greatest challenge facing individuals today, and it lies solely in the profound and multifaceted exploration of time. The secular pursuit of efficiency and productivity emphasizes a promise. The spiritual quest for meaning and purpose and the endeavor to harmonize time with other fundamental aspects of existence are deeply rooted in time. As individuals strive to navigate the intricate web of temporal intricacies, they grapple with the eternal, the divine, and the ever-present question of how best to live within the finite bounds of time. So, if you do anything today, analyze how you manage time. A saying one of the mentors stated, “The areas that make us better are the areas we consistently avoid.”
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spots in Atlanta include Buckhead, including restaurants such as Rock Steady Atlanta, Houston’s, and the Old Lady Gang.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank God for allowing me to live out my life according to his path, my Post-secondary professionals Ms. Dignani and Mr. Caplan, my grandparents for believing in me and caring for me, my loving mother, who is the creator of all my success, and to all those on my journey I have encountered. Understanding where we are in life is thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love, and encouragement of others. No matter the act of kindness or your family and friends supporting you/being there for you. Unfortunately, we sometimes forget who helped us put in the extra work when others succeed. For example, the teacher stayed an extra hour to help us complete an assignment or understand the curriculum and the classmates who assisted us academically and personally throughout college. Showing appreciation goes a long way. Of course, at various stages in everyone’s life, you want to pursue your dreams by any means necessary. But with that comes grit and sacrifices. You may not have time to go out with friends, watch a movie, or analyze your social media feed. However, once you accomplish your goals, you can do everything you couldn’t complete every day.
