Hi Princess With The Real, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
So, picture this: I’m in the corporate world, right? Day in and day out, grinding away, but it felt like I was stuck in this never-ending cycle of just being a cog in the machine. My creativity was itching to break free! I needed a space where I could breathe life into my ideas, where I could wake up each morning with a smile because I was doing what I loved, not just what paid the bills.

I realized I’m more of a free spirit, not meant to be confined by cubicle walls or someone else’s agenda. Life’s too short to be punching in and out for a paycheck without any real joy. I wanted to create, to express myself, to feel that rush of excitement with each project. Sure, money’s important, but so is waking up every day feeling fulfilled, knowing that I’m living authentically, creating something that resonates with me and hopefully others too.

I’ve spent too long prioritizing others’ happiness over my own. But now? Now it’s all about finding that balance, chasing my dreams while also finding that inner peace. And let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of pursuing your passion and waking up with a heart full of excitement for what the day holds.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As an operations manager and personality at 2HotRadio, I have the incredible privilege of getting paid to do what I love—helping artists and businesses elevate their brands to new heights. What sets me apart is not just my professional expertise, but my unwavering commitment to inspiring and motivating others. I’ve always believed that everyone needs somebody, and I strive to be that somebody for those around me, using my own experiences and stories to ignite growth and positivity in others.

The journey to where I am today hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every hurdle. I’ve faced numerous challenges and had to make significant sacrifices along the way. But through perseverance and unwavering determination, I refused to give up on my dreams. Every setback only fueled my resolve to keep pushing forward.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of self-reliance. While guidance and support from others are invaluable, ultimately, I am the one walking in my own shoes, and I must trust myself to lead the way. I’ve also learned that with enough dedication and focus, anything is possible. Troubles may come and go, but they do not define us—they only make us stronger.

Patience has also been a key lesson for me. Not everything happens according to our timelines, but if we stay persistent and keep moving forward, the right opportunities will present themselves in due time.

My brand, “Princess With The Real,” is an extension of myself—a testament to authenticity and self-empowerment. I encourage others to embrace who they are, pursue their passions, and chase after their dreams relentlessly. Because at the end of the day, true happiness is the ultimate goal, and when we prioritize our happiness, everything else falls into place.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to showing my best friend the best time ever, I like to start by understanding what they’re eager to experience and indulge in. Whether it’s trying out new cuisines, exploring hidden gems, or embarking on thrilling adventures, I’m all about crafting unforgettable memories.

Rather than sticking to a rigid itinerary, I prefer to tailor the week-long trip to my friend’s interests and preferences. As an entertainer at heart, my goal is to bring joy and excitement while fostering lasting connections and memories.

We might kick things off with a culinary journey, sampling diverse dishes from local eateries that offer a taste of the area’s vibrant food scene. From trendy cafes to hole-in-the-wall gems, there’s no shortage of delicious discoveries to be made.

During the day, we could explore iconic landmarks, soak up the sun at scenic parks, or delve into the rich history and culture of the area through museum visits and guided tours.

As the sun sets, the nightlife beckons with its array of lively bars, cozy lounges, and vibrant clubs. We’d dance the night away, mingling with locals and immersing ourselves in the city’s vibrant energy.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a touch of adventure. Whether it’s zip-lining through lush forests, embarking on a scenic hike, or taking a thrilling boat ride along the coast, there’s no shortage of adrenaline-pumping activities to choose from.

Ultimately, the highlight of the trip lies not in the specific destinations or activities, but in the shared moments of laughter, discovery, and connection. It’s about creating experiences that will be cherished long after the trip comes to an end.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First off, I want to give a big shoutout to my parents, who brought me into this world and shaped me into the person I am today. Despite the challenges we faced, their love and the experiences we shared have been invaluable in my journey.

Next, a heartfelt thank you to my siblings. Growing up with them taught me so much about navigating relationships and understanding the dynamics of human interaction.

I can’t forget about my schoolmates and coaches. Whether it was the tough times or the triumphs on the court or track, each encounter taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of teamwork. And let’s not forget those catchy motivational tunes we belted out during training sessions – they still resonate with me to this day!

To everyone who has crossed my path post-graduation, whether they stayed for a reason, a season, or are still by my side, thank you. Each interaction has been a lesson, shaping my perspective and adding layers to my growth as an individual.

A huge shoutout to all the colleagues and coworkers who have shared their wisdom and challenged me to grow in the professional realm. Without those experiences, I wouldn’t have discovered my true worth or learned to adapt to diverse environments.
