We had the good fortune of connecting with Qween Qweezy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Qween, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Staying consistent helped me succeed. I consistently post content. I consistently create content. I engage with my fan base I ask them what they want from me as an artist and how I can best serve them. I pivot when a plan is not working or there is a better way to do something. I remain positive even if the world is falling apart. I focus on the end goal and the things that matter.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of my resilience. I keep going no matter the circumstances or how difficult it may get. What set me apart from others is my diversity. You never know what to expect and I will not be boxed in when creating art or expression. I’m excited about my upcoming project Bounce Fah Me e.p. Which is a 8 track project with bounce beats and sample. Alongside some incredible New Orleans artists. I’ve gotten where I am today with building meaning relationships and having good intentions. It was easy because I stay true to myself. I have learned that nothing is personal it’s all business and it is always in your best interest to stand on business. Leave your emotions at home is one of the most beneficial lesson I’ve learned. I want the world to see my success and know this is what happens when you put God first and believe in yourself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to fins and feathers. It has amazing food and great vibes the music is always lit. I would also take them to my favorite mall perimeter mall. It is low key but still that girl when it comes to finding exclusive pieces. Sunday we will go to church and do brunch at suitfood lounge

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my family and my amazing supporters. My cousin Allay Earhart always pushes me to greatness. He helps me understand and master the music business. My sister- cousins who I love so much have been there every step of the way. Coming to my shows when there was only a few people in the audience and purchasing my music or any venture I decide to take on. Diamond, Sara, Star and New I appreciate y’all so much. My little brother Trey is my driving force I wouldn’t go as hard if it wasn’t for him. My goal is to provide the people who are close to me with a lifestyle/ life they could never imagine. Last but certainly not least #TEAMQWEEZY I love y’all deep. Thank you so muchhhhhh for watching the videos, sharing and reposting content, believing in the vision from the very start, holding me down when I was rapping and singing in my dorm room. Loving me as I am, praying for my health, and continued success.
