We had the good fortune of connecting with Bronwyn Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bronwyn, how do you think about risk?

Embracing risk is an often overlooked and powerful aspect of life. Throughout my career, I’ve willingly taken on various risks, such as departing from the corporate world and venturing into entrepreneurship within a field I was passionate about, despite its steep learning curve. The truth is, unless we take risks, we’ll never fully grasp our potential. When the desire for change tugs at our hearts, it’s crucial to approach it with a strategic mindset, incorporating calculated risks into our plans, ensuring a safety net, and moving forward with unwavering determination.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Absolutely, what makes me stand out is my deep passion for innovation and a steadfast commitment to pushing boundaries. I take immense pride in being a trailblazer as an FAA Certified drone pilot and the founder of a company specializing in aerospace and AI solutions. This underscores my unwavering dedication to advancing and revolutionizing the drone industry. I think I’m also the only meditation instructor and drone tech visionary out there!

Navigating the path to my current position and charting the course for the future has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. It wasn’t a walk in the park – overcoming obstacles and navigating uncertainties, especially as a woman of color in this field, added layers to the journey. What propels me forward is resilience and a genuine eagerness to absorb knowledge. I view challenges not as roadblocks but as stepping stones for personal and professional growth, and I face them with unwavering determination.

The lessons learned along this journey are priceless. Adaptability, persistence, and recognizing the significance of a robust support network have emerged as pivotal insights. Each hurdle has been a classroom, imparting valuable knowledge and contributing significantly to my professional development.

My role as an entrepreneur and founder goes beyond this being just a job – it’s a profound commitment to excellence and a dedication to creating a positive impact. I focus on continuous growth and an unyielding commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable in drone technology and equipment capabilities. I’m enthusiastic about the future and the opportunities to lead an incredibly smart team into new frontiers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has so many cool spots to hang out it and places to eat and drink. I tend to take guests for breakfast which a must in the ATL, old classics such as The Flying Biscuit, Sun In My Belly, R. Thomas, and new eats like Pancake Social, all are some of my favorites. After breakfast we have to hit spots like the High Museum, Piedmont Park, the King Center and Little 5 Points. While there we have to visit Sevananda for healthy groceries, Moods Music Record Shop for the best music and novelty selections, and Arden’s Garden of a delicious juice blend. Other incredible spots are of the course the Beltline, Krog Street Market, Just Add Honey (incredible tea boutique), Ponce City Market, and Virginia Highland. For some relaxing we’d visit Iwi Fresh Wellness Oasis! Unforgettable!

For other fun we’d have to check out the house music scene with DJs such as Kai Alce, DJ Applejack, DL Kemit, DJ Jamad, Salah Ananse and Ramon Rawsoul to name a few. (If it’s Labor Day – we’d be at House In The Park!) Other favs are Plaza Theatre, Landmark Midtown for a flick and City Winery for a sip and some tunes. Lastly, I’m partial to thai, so I’d most likely have dinner at Surin, Harry & Sons or Tuk Tuk. There are too many places to mention for dinner! Just too many. Finishing the evening off with the ASO (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra) or theatre at the Alliance, Horizon or 7 Stages makes a great visit to the ATL!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my parents and the mentors I had during my corporate days. These folks witnessed the early chapters of my life, guiding me, cheering me on, and setting the stage for my independence. They weren’t just preparing me for life’s challenges; they were personal coaches, steadfast in their belief in my potential. Thanks to them, I got the chance to explore the world and carve out my path. Their influence has played a key role in shaping my unique life journey,
