We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Citrus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenna, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I used to be 100% committed to furthering my art and career at any cost, especially through college. I look back on the amount of work and stress I was bringing into my life and marvel at how I didn’t break down. I put far too much stress and meaning into things that eventually would come to not matter too much. I now focus more of my efforts on family and friends and feel much more balanced. I do still set daily goals and accomplish things, but it’s at a more leisurely pace allowing for a focus on relaxation and meditation

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most excited about my ability to keep creating in different areas and experimenting after being an artist for 16 years. From acrylic paint, to making music videos, to taking photos, to writing, I still find new ways to express myself and I’m proud of that. I worked for 10 years trying to figure out how to make money online as a stay at home entrepreneur, I started in stock photos after the market was mostly saturated and continued trying new and different ways to earn a living until I stumbled upon a few models that worked for me through Patreon and OnlyFans.
I’d like the world to know that I’m here to spread positivity and share a smile.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d check out the gallery, walk on the greenway, and visit some of my favorite yoga spots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My partner Bryan Gish has been there by my side encouraging me for 8 years, he’s been involved in my business at some level from the beginning of our relationship. I’d also love to shout out to my mom and dad for all their help with framing art pieces.
