Hi Brittany, why did you pursue a creative career?
Choosing an artistic and creative career is like following a calling for me. I’ve always found joy in expressing myself – It can even be therapeutic. It’s not just about the stage lights; it’s about telling stories, connecting with people, and sparking emotions.

Acting, in particular, became my passion because it’s a way to live a thousand lives in one. I love how it challenges me, pushes boundaries, and brings stories to life in a way that words alone can’t. It’s my form of magic, and I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire and unite us.

Ultimately, pursuing an artistic career is more than a choice; it’s a journey of self-discovery, expression, and a commitment to making the world a little more vibrant and connected through the magic of creativity.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m currently shooting a film where I get to embody a truly fabulous character. I can’t wait to share more about this experience; it’s been a journey of self-discovery and artistic expression that I’m eager to bring to the audience.

On another note, I’m thrilled about the recent release of ‘Secrets of a Celebrity Nanny,’ now available on Amazon Prime and Hulu. It’s a project that holds a special place in my heart, and seeing it come to life for audiences to enjoy is incredibly rewarding.

I want to emphasize that being an actor is far more than a few headshots and putting actor in your bio. It’s about dedication, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for storytelling. I believe in the power of honing one’s craft through classes and getting serious about the art. It’s not always an easy path, but having a clear ‘why’ is what fuels the journey and makes every step worthwhile. I’m grateful for the challenges and triumphs that have shaped my career so far, and I’m excited about the journey ahead.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has so much to offer! This is my idea of a perfect day in the city;

I would start my morning with breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Cafe. After I get my coffee fix, I would visit the Georgia Aquarium. For lunch, we’re heading to Mary Mac’s Tea Room for a taste of classic Southern cuisine. Get some exercise in by taking a stroll through Piedmont Park, a beautiful urban green space. Maybe try to squeeze in a nap before catching a performance at the Fox Theatre!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a heartfelt shout-out to everyone who has been a part of my journey and supported me along the way.
