We had the good fortune of connecting with HOPE DOC TAHIRA LEE and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi HOPE DOC TAHIRA, how did you come up with the idea for your business?

That is a really great question. This idea came to our partners and I over a decade ago. We noticed that traditional schools often have a one-size-fits-all approach to education, which can leave some children feeling left behind or unchallenged. We also noticed that some children struggled with certain subjects while excelling in others.

In response to these observations, we decided to create a non-profit remote charter school that focuses on individualized learning. We have chosen to focus on specific subject areas that we believe that are important to children and teenagers to learn in order to be successful in life.

We have done the research on the benefits of individualized learning and the need for more educational options for children and teenagers. We consulted with experts in the fields of education and the subject areas that we are focusing on in order to create a program that is both effective and engaging.

Long story short, the idea for the business came from a combination of personal experience, research, and a desire to provide better educational opportunities for children and teenagers.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
HOPE Enterprises Inc. is a 501C3 Collective focused on serving our community through community building, education, and environmentally conscious homes.

We provide whole-life readiness tools, mental health advocacy resources, and education to students aged 7-17 years old via our remote charter school, HOPE House University. We also offer a Financial Freedom Reengineering Program and eco-friendly affordable housing via our Tiny Houses of HOPE, a tiny home community.

HOPE stands for Helping – Others – Pursue – Elevation, and we are Headquartered out of Atlanta, GA and have successfully helped hundreds of women, children, and families achieve greater success in all areas of life!

Great question! What sets our non-profit remote Charter School, HOPE House University, apart from other Charter schools is our focus on individualized learning in specific concentrations.

While many schools offer a general education curriculum, our school offers a specialized program that allows students to focus on their specific interests and goals. The five concentrations you offer – Business, Real Estate, Arts, Tech, and Science – are unique and provide students with a well-rounded education that is tailored to their individual needs.

In addition, our remote learning platform offers flexibility and convenience that is not available in traditional schools. This allows students to learn at their own pace and in the comfort of their own homes.

Another aspect that sets our school apart is our non-profit status. As a non-profit organization, our primary focus is on providing high-quality education to students rather than making a profit. This allows us to prioritize the needs of our students and invest in their education.

Overall, our non-profit remote Charter School, HOPE House University, offers a unique and innovative approach to education that sets it apart from other Charter schools. Our focus on individualized learning, specialized concentrations, and non-profit status make your school a valuable asset to the community.

Was it easy? Heck no, we overcame many challenges with our tax exempt status, funding, finding the right teachers and students that aligned with the vision and convincing the community that this is a better way for our youth’s to learn.

The main lesson that we learned is to never ever give up as we proudly have nearly 1K students pre-enrolled and ready for the HOPE House University launch!
