We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayshaun Brooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayshaun, how does your business help the community?
My company Renew You Body Butters, helps the world by offering holistic skincare products to a population of the world that is often ignored by big brand companies. A lot of people don’t have sensitive skin but there is a lot of us that do. When walking into big name stores almost everything on the shelves has alcohols, artificial colors, artificial fragrances and preservatives that irritate sensitive skin. Oftentimes the products that do cater to those with sensitive skin, smells like medicine and is not attractive looking. At Renew You Body Butters, we offer luxury organic holistic skincare products. All of our products are planted based, organic, alcohol free, preservative free, cruelty free and we don’t use and artificial colors or fragrances. These are all key elements to helping those around the world with sensitive skin. We also provide people in the community and around the world to opportunity to make additional income by becoming affiliates of Renew You Body Butters.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Renew You Body Butters is an luxury holistic skincare company. We cater to those with sensitive skin. We have products for the face, hair and body. All of our products are high quality, ethically sourced, organic and plant based. What sets me apart from others is that I’m not just a skincare formulator, I’m a former nurse and have been studying holistic health for almost 20 years. I’m most proud that I was able to find a solution for myself, my family and many other people all over the world. I’ve been able to give those with sensitive skin a luxury holistic option to taking care of themselves.

I got to where I’m at business wise due to life never being easy for me. Being raised by parents who were addicted to drugs and all the horrific experiences that come along with that made me one hell of a strong person. I never wanted to be a statistic, so I overcame a lot of abuse and trauma. I was able to take that same zeal and determination and put it into building my company. I overcame many challenges by learning early on that who you want to come help and save you will not always do it. Therefore, another solution has to be sought after.

I’ve spent a majority of the years building this company suffering with chronic pain and chronic illnesses. It was not by choice at all. I never expected any of this to happen. I’ve learned along the way overcoming challenges that I couldn’t give up or I was going to die. I didn’t want to die and leave my children, so I had to learn to humble myself, network, collaborate and build relationships. By networking, collaborating and building relationships I’ve been able to grow my company to levels unimaginable. I want people to know that once I stopped worrying and complaining about who wasn’t supporting me or there for me things started to change drastically.

I had to walk completely in faith. It was scary not being able to do things my way or just have this clear vision but so much positive has happened. I’m now partnered with over 60 affiliates. Creating passive income streams for them by them helping changing people lives using Renew You Body Butters skincare line. One of the most important lessons I learned is that who is meant to take this entrepreneur journey with you will come if you open yourself to the opportunities. I want people to know when they see or hear about Kayshaun Brooks and Renew You Body Butters is that all odds were against her, but she weathered the storm, never gave up and still came out on top. Now that I’m finally getting healthier, I can’t wait to shock the world and show them more about me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting me and we had a week together to do and go anywhere, I would want to spend the week showing ourselves nothing but selfcare. I would take her to multiple spas around the country and we just enjoy ourselves and pouring into ourselves. If not going to going to multiple spas I would want to do a weeklong selfcare retreat, If I could have this weeklong retreat anywhere, I would want to do it in Hawaii. I have always wanted to go there. It looks so peaceful and serene. Also, the food looks amazing as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this shout to multiple people. Firstly, I want to shout out my 60 plus affiliates and my celebrity brand ambassador Latice Crawford. Having a community of people who believed in me, my story and the company has been an amazing experience. To have this many people promoting and spreading the word about my company to help others using holistic skincare products is phenomenal. I never planned on any of this happening, but they all came to me and have built a strong community and relationships. I would also have to give credit to all the different people and businesses that have networked, collaborated and built relationships with to make Renew You Body Butters a successful company. However, if I just had to name a couple of people who has had the biggest impact in mentorship and support, I would have to name Tiffany Mason and Candace Holyfield. These two individuals have helped and supported me so much it’s unbelievable. I’m so blessed God has brought all of these people into my life.
