Meet Brittney Parris | Event Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Parris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Many people do not understand the time, dedication, and cost it takes to design and produce a full service event. Many people see the end result and don’t think about the many pieces it takes to get there. When working with my clients, I always educate them on the many different puzzle pieces that it takes to plan their event. We WILL get the fairytale event they are looking for, but they must be prepared for every angle of planning.

What should our readers know about your business?
Her Creative Design, is the highlight of my day and the last thought on my mind before I go to bed. I put so much dedication into my business, and I am finally seeing the fruits of my labor. My vision to execute and go beyond what my client expects is what sets me apart from others. It always amazes me how I can take a simple idea or theme and make it bigger than what it was intended to be. I am most proud of my consistency to keep my business afloat and branch out to other avenues of the industry that I am in. Nothing ever comes easy to those who work hard, stay dedicated and motivated to achieve your goals and you will always win.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am fairly new to Atlanta, so I don’t know every exciting spot to visit. My itinerary would probably come from TikTok, if I’m being honest. Since I’ve been here, I do have some gems, that I love. I am definitely a foodie and I love sweets, so Cakes by Keon would definitely be on the list if my bestie was in the mood for sweets. Gocha’s Breakfast Bar for a brunch vibe, and SeaSalt ATL for Dinner. I also enjoy riding scooters and bikes downtown. I am very simple, and I love a good chill vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My support system deserves the recognition in the success of my story. I appreciate every aspect of support they have given me throughout my journey. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the tough love given from them, I don’t know if I would be where I am today. They saw potential that I didn’t and pushed me to be great. I owe them all the thanks and love.
