We had the good fortune of connecting with Tai’ Eunice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tai’, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I think and believe that inspiration is something that makes you want to be better and do better. I am literally inspired by everything around me, from the trees, to the music, to my past & my future. The main thing that really inspires me would be challenges. For me, being challenged and going out of my way to continuously push myself to the next level is inspiring. There are days I want to throw in the towel, but I remember how far I’ve came and that my journey is not over. Another factor to my inspiration would be my FAITH! When those tough times come creeping in, I simply turn to my faith. I have faith that this hurdle is simply just a moment & it will not last forever. Even the times when I feel myself loosing hope, I close my eyes, breathe, meditate and allow those feelings to wash away. Sitting still will allow you to notice inspiration is all around you!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a creative, who happens to be well rounded in many forms of the arts. While attending Film school, I fell in love with Directing and Videography. I later discovered my passion for Modeling. I found myself constantly being pulled to the side for my eclectic & vibrant outfit selections to assist with the styling of the models on set. That is what initially sparked my fire to start my own line. I’ve also been very fortunate to work with some amazing artist along the way as well as being a Brand Ambassador for some high end companies such as RastAFri & Urban Skin RX. Although Videography is my 1st love, I’m most proud of my fashion line Eu’NiqueO Styles. It is a Modern African line, dedicated to my loved ones & ancestors back home in Lagos & Abuja, Nigeria. Now, *wipes head* creating a brand and fashion line from the ground up, without any experience, education in the field or expertise has not always been easy. I’m self-taught and continuously striving to educate myself to be better than I was the day before. My motivation behind Eu’NiqueO Styles is to ensure everyone who wears my one of a kind pieces feels unique, empowered and like a true Queen or King, no matter the skin they’re in. My journey has had its ups & downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. All those trials and tribulations have molded me into the woman & Entrepreneur I am right now. I know that my dreams are larger than me and I have a purpose to fulfill while here on this earth. Which may not always include taking the “Traditional” path. Therefore I will continue to create my own lane because I can not & will not give up. Ase!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m well traveled so when I say this, be very aware that I am not playing around. Atlanta has some of the BEST food I have ever experienced in my life. Everywhere you go the food has an extensive amount of flavor. One of my favorite dining spots is a super cute, upscale French restaurant called Le Bilboquet in Buckhead. The food is delicious and the ambiance is even better. Please check it out if you love French cuisine or just want to try something new & different. On a beautiful spring or summer day, I also love hanging out at the lakes or waterfalls. So far my favorite waterfall is located at Roswell Mill. Extremely peaceful and the view is to die for.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a special shoutout to two of my very good friends, Erica aka KekeNova & Delmy. They have not only been supportive since day one, but they both have exuded the true meaning of teamwork & friendship. I’d also like to thank my close friends, supporters, clients & customers. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. You all continue to push me to the limit and I am forever grateful.
