Meet Sadie Holland | Creator & Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sadie Holland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sadie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Freedom . I’ve worked so many different jobs: crossing guard, coordinator, film & production , Sumer camp director , you name it I’ve dabbled in it . I’ve built projects and produced events I made a fresh new look for my church . All of these things were great but the greatest of all is freedom . Freedom to set my own pace and use my own mind to create. I also understand what it means to allow things to happen and what I feel is truth. The thing about God (whatever you call him,it, universe, vortex, Allah, etc.) He gives us the answers and grace we have to follow behind what our gut or intuition tells us and act. When I went into film I was working a job crossing children across the street and directing traffic I remember working both and I got the job by being consistent with my emails and asking for work every week from my mentor/(play auntie) I even told her I would work for free . She gave me my first gig for FREE and it was AMAZING .

I worked my butt off but I learned that day that ANYTHING I want I can have . If I speak it believe it and ask I will have it. I had my business in mind and not totally structured but it was there. As I worked and saw how everything that I said I wanted and happened I knew I could make a leap even further into my business. I had desire and passion . I knew that because when I had a dream it be came a goal then it became real. I knew my business was something that’s worth millions and is . My desire and passion is what started my process . I still to this day with a set of twin one year old boys , a six year old and a husband I still am my own boss !

What should our readers know about your business?
My brand Solly B’s is a product that I concocted down in Waycross, GA while visiting for a family reunion. There is no other bug repellant out there with my ingredients. My Non-sticky, non-oily, DEET Free, No Essential Oils, No Toxins, No Artificial Fragrances formula is an absolute necessity when it comes to outdoors! My repellant protection is higher than those you see on television. You immediately get a fresh awakening. I am most proud of my own internal transformation that took place while molding my business. My own growth is my rock that I stand on because honestly we can be the riches person in the world , with the best products and still be unhappy. Why ? We don’t take ourselves through the steps that will free us mentally and financially . I’ve learn to listen to my company . Listen to my customers and create. The Who? What? and Where! Solly B’s is more than a product it is a full story of how you can become free and create your riches(mentally or physically) I learned this understanding from my mentor Jeremy Springer.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a country girl. I’m from a country place and the only entertainment is the square in Carrollton, Ga although is full of racist people there are some nice parks and eating spots. I would certainly take my friends to “The City” or Atlanta. The ONLY thing to do here in Carrollton is to drink. dance and get in trouble.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow this is great so absolutely first God and His grace ! His Favor! We must stop limiting what God can do! Next, my husband Shawn Holland. We have been together now over 10 years and soon to be married for 7 years . He has supported me non stop with every job, every class, every idea and emotion . Feelings and emotions are important. My mom the nurturer the feeler the one that listens to me when I am sad and understanding when I need an outlet. My children Solomon, Sage and Sebastian because they can’t be what they can’t see. Just know they see the power! They watch a power couple everyday love, provide, communicate and grind ! They learn about emotions and how growth is important. A few books “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill and “Acts of Faith” by Iyanla Vanzant (she is powerful y’all) Bob Proctor (go watch his seminars) and last the one person that I talk to everyday and he teaches me still about my WHY and why it is important to listen, allow, experience, connect, align and express. He is a billionaire in the making Jeremy Springer . He is the CEO owner and software engineer of EVOLVE EMTAB digital . His has shown me understanding and truth about my worth !
