Meet Levita Cotton | Entrepreneur/CEO of Wear Me Right & Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Levita Cotton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Levita, what’s your definition for success?
Reaching a goal or accomplishing something you’ve set out to achieve.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is I wear a lot of different hats meaning I’m a mom, an entrepreneur, an actress, and a momager. I’m most proud of the things I use to dream about when I was younger I’m actually doing it now like working with Tyler Perry on a few of his hit shows (Sistas, Ruthless, All The Queens Men). 50 cent (BMF), Aretha Franklin movie (Respect) and that’s just to name a few. I’m a momager to my kids. I manage a lot of what they have going on. I got to where I am today by being persistent, no matter what. If it’s something you really want in life you will not let anything or anyone get in the way of your vision. It was never easy. It took me years after years after years and a lot of No’s to the point I just wanted to give up but I did not give up. Thank God. What I want the world to know about me is I believe in myself, I have high standards, I treat others the way I want to be treated, I understand how precious time is, I have no regrets, I look for positivity in all things and I am grateful.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely eat at Sun Dial Restaurant. We would visit Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. We would hang out at either Top Golf or Round1 Bowling & Amusement. Those are definitely my top picks.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to my significant other. The way he encourage me to keep going and never give up on my dreams is admirable.
