Meet Brandy Flint | Creative Artist Agency Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandy Flint and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandy, why did you pursue a creative career?
I have loved fashion and beautiful things since I was little. I specifically remembering in 8th grade, one day I just picked up a pencil and started sketching outfits. I immediately knew what subject I wanted to major in when applying for college.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started my company The Taylor Christian Agency in February 2022. I had been a professional wardrobe stylist for over 15 years and have seen the up’s and downs of the fashion industry. I, myself struggled to get signed and find work throughout my career. When I first started styling, I had no budget so I was the creative director for all of my shoots. I came up with the concept, booked all the artists, even scouted for locations. I really started to like being the person that brought everything together on the back end and seeing my vision coming to life in print. I knew that the hustle and bustle of styling was not what I wanted to do until retirement, but I wanted to continue working in fashion. I wanted to help artists, that were like me get to where they wanted to be in their career. It took a lot to build my company, but I now have 12 artists on my board. Services include, make-up, hair & styling for all sectors of the fashion industry. Diversity inclusion is what this brand was build on and my artists are some of the most talented and down to earth people you will meet.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
That’s easy….I am a huge sports fan and so is my Bff, depending on the season I would take her to a Falcons or Hawks game, then go hang out at whatever spot is jumping after and get some drinks. We love music, so we would go see a set and grab a bite to eat at City Winery. Then round the week off with some luxury shopping at Lenox Square Mall.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely, my mother. When growing up she always told me that she saw me doing something great. She said, I could do anything I set my mind to and to not let anyone steer me otherwise. She has always encouraged me to think outside the box and go after what I wanted. When I was down, I could count on her to lift my spirits up and get me back on track and for that, I am forever grateful.
