Meet Mohamed (4rex) Kaba | Artist & Territory Sales Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mohamed (4rex) Kaba and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mohamed (4rex), what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel naturally drawn to music. From growing up in environments filled with artistic minded people witch led me to Tap into art as an expression, Music, I discovered that I had a strong connection to it. I feel, it is only normal that I pursue such a direction. It makes me happy in the end, and that is one of most important thing sought after in this life, Happiness.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m unique in a way where I draw my versatility from different cultures, whether it be African, European, or American. I have a broad background where I was compelled to familiarize myself with different cultures. I am really excited about my future projects and the impact I am looking to make. Getting to where I am at today was not an easy route. It is never an overnight success, like they say, it takes blood tears and sweats to reach certain heights. I’ve learned that one has to believe in himself before others can believe in him. This is big for me because I am my biggest critics. To anyone reading, this is just the beginning and I am not going to stop, as long as The creator allows me to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The city has a lot to offer, you should follow Ben Joiner and his activities, Principal/cultural Conduit in Atlanta. In addition, notable eateries like Twisted Soul Cookhouse and Pours, Rock Steady will make sure you have a good time. Eventually, I usually end up in studio sessions or do private hangout with friends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely my sister! Aissa Ali, she is usually busy savings lives in the medical field, She has been a role model for me. From providing guidance on how to navigates certain waves in life, taking ownership and believing that anything is possible. Her message, that stuck with me , “Do not doubt yourself, and go for it, whatever it is, it is possible!”led me to achieve great successes and reach heights I never thought were once possible.
