We had the good fortune of connecting with The Ozzy Kidd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Ozzy, how do you think about risk?
I think about risk as a sort of cause and effect in anything in life. In order to progress, you may have to put something at stake. Just apart of life honestly. In anything I’ve done, there was something that could be lost or gained, sometimes both. But it helped me to learn to always go for my goals and not let what could be lost stop me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an artist, you have to set yourself apart by your whole presentation. It becomes boring to be like others. I like that though, I like being able to be different in my own way in how I present myself, my music, and acting. I’m excited about a film I’m going to be in and my songs dropping soon called “When I sleep” and “Hell Yeah”. It wasn’t easy to get to where I’m at but I think everyone journey is different so sometimes yours may get harder than anothers but it’s worth it. Trust me. I want the world to know that my story is going to be legendary, honestly already is. But my brand won’t do anything but grow and increase so keep watching until you see me everywhere, then keep watching even more.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta is so large, I’d say hit Buckhead and the belt line. Ponce is an area that has a lot going on around it and you can find actually bunch of music and comedy joints around it. The most exciting thing about these areas is really the people you’ll see. Interactions are key but be careful lol.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank the marvelous Dr. Madam Money. Honestly, all entertainers in the field that show me you can be versatile and to stay persistent. Ke love is a big star that had nothing but support for me. Also, my favorite music influences like Outkast, Drake, Future, and Youngboy helped to make me move towards my decision to pursue music and entertainment. So my shoutout is to everyone who’s working to do what they dream and not limiting themselves or letting others stop them.
