We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Faith Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deborah Faith, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
The healer’s gift is her own wounds. It’s the source of empathy and true understanding of compassion compassion and forgiveness. Brooke Lilith This quote resonates so deep with me because I have turned my trauma and tragedy into a gift to others, by created a safe space for them heal, evolve and be restored into their best self.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
TheXchange place is such an experience, it’s a place that changes you every time you come there, listen or watch the show. I am most proud of the heart-felt experience that people have and most proud of the authenticity and vulnerability that people have to come and share their stories with us or even their views.
TheXchange journey has been far from easy. I have had challenges on all levels but no matter what has come up against me. God has literally made a way along the way. I wish I could even take credit.
One of my biggest lessons along the way has been really stepping out on Faith when you find Purpose. I know it can feel scary at times but everytime I do, it works out. Now I am not at all saying it works out the way I saw thought it would but it does work out.

TheXchange Place is where we connect people from all walks of life to help them identify and heal unaddressed trauma. By sharing our journeys and others’ experiences through vulnerablilty and transparency, to help unite listeners and bridge the gap of understanding and effective communication.

“The Xchange Place” is a safe space where authentic and heartfelt conversation pairs with tears and laughter leaving the listeners with newfound knowledge that helps them to transform and gain a greater sense of self awareness that guides them into growth in their personal journeys. Are you trying to become a better you?

We all need mirrors that reflect where we are and windows to where it’s possible to go.

Do you find yourself needing a tribe that understands where you are going?
Come along with us as we heal evolve and restore ourselves. To be the best versions of ourselves, we are making our dreams, our reality.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This is dedicated to all the strong people, who suffer in silence, who have worn invisible capes their entire lives swooping in to rescue others but have given themselves the same level of help. To the men and women who carry the weight of the world on their shoulder. Who cry in the dark when no one else is watching. To those, who hearts just want to see others doing well but have never turned that love inward to love themselves with the same level of love and compassion.
It’s your time for you to give what you give to others to yourself.
