We had the good fortune of connecting with William Golden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi William, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
The industry that I am in is about taking risks. The art of separating yourself from everyone else. Show business is not what it seems. You need to master your craft but also maintain it. Taking those risks that other do not while investing in yourself. If you don’t do it then don’t expect for anyone to!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The road to where I currently has not been easy. I take my craft seriously in the world of entertainment. I have been on movie and TV sets, commercials, radio, and more. It takes a strong willed individual to make it in this business. When me and my co host started our show Against The Rules we started it to give a voice to those who felt they didn’t belong. We are breaking the rules now so that there aren’t any rules for the next generation. Joining Dj Ro at 94.7 The Link was the best thing we could do. She gave us the opportunity to express ourselves in a way that other stations wouldn’t allow. A lot of our success is owed to her and the 94.7 The Link family!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wine! Wine is a very loving and great tool for almost anything! A great winery and full course meal would never hurt! On a night out there are tons of options such as Atlantic Station and the battery! So many endless options. Because our schedules can be so busy and quiet game night at home is also something that happens often

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
