Meet LaTange Baker | Owner & Body Product Mixologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with LaTange Baker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaTange, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Greetings Kings and Queens!!!!
I am crazy about my skin feeling and looking good! So I decided one day to make my family some body scrubz. After about 10 trys…I said think I got something! So I began to give as gifts and everyone kept asking me to make some. So then I knew it was official.
I am all about self care and it being all natural. From the products that go into my Locs ( which is none by the way) to products on my body.
So I love feed back on my on product. I welcome any questions you may have.
I am humble and grateful to everyone I cross paths with. I believe everyone is placed in your life for a reason.
Make this day and every day a Great Day!
Blessings!
LaTange

What should our readers know about your business?
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, We are All Natural Body Productz with no Chemicals or colors.
what you are most proud of or excited about. – my growth and my Productz being placed in celebrity hands to try.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? I have changed jars, labels several times and became more branded and professional. I see my growth.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. – I have learned it is hard work and dedication. Building connections and growing with different productz. I started with one product….Body scrubz…and now I have 5 productz.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story? I am just here to share my joy of All Natural Body Productz to the world . To help ease dry patches, eczema, cracked skin, etc
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First, I would take them to one of the best vegan restaurants in Atlanta – Bar Vegan, and The Village store in Ponce City Market. Also, during that week check out one of many festivals. Brunch at Atlanta Breakfast Club is a must have! Stop by and say Whats up to Mr. Darryl at Mood Music in Little Five Points. And we have to have some good seafood before visit is over. Oh and drinks are a requirement!Lol

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to Thank Selena Overton, childhood friend for pushing me to create and sell my own body productz. She set me up in June 2019 with my very first Pop Up Shop at a Gospel play she was acting in. So I owe her for the “Jump”
