We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen and Justice Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephen and Justice, what is the most important factor behind your success?
There are so many factors that contribute heavily to our success, but since we have to choose one, we would have to say that it’s our drive. When we say drive we mean that ball of tenacity we possess; that fire within us that pushes us to go harder. It is very rare that you get to work with someone who has the same level of determination that you do, and it is something that we both acknowledge and attribute our success to. Though simple, it is the most important factor to us because without drive there’s no movement, both literally and figuratively. If either of us ever woke up one morning and no longer had the drive to live this life and do this work, our company would never be the same. However, we are determined to accomplish our goals and live out our dreams; RZVizions LLC is just a product of that.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Rz Vizions LLC is a Georgia based, media production company specializing in cinematography and video production. We have been operating for over 3 years and pride ourselves on the progress we’ve made in that time. What was once a secondary source of income has trasformed into a full video production company and budding brand,, something we couldn’t have ever predicted

We have had the pleasure of working on a wide range of projects and have met so many awesome people in the process. We are also beginning to work with more writers on films and pilot episodes so those are some new ventures in the works that we are excited about. Anytime we are given the opportunity to cultivate new business relationships we jump to it because it is those relationships that ultimately push you to success. We understand how valuable attributes like quality and dependability are and we have continued to hold ourselves to those standards for these past three years. That is what sets us apart. We know that our clients value the consistency that comes with shooting with RZ Vizions and it is that same consistency that enables our clients to refer their family, friends, and business associates. Trust is needed for any relationship to thrive and we strive to gain it and keep it.

However, we do work in a competitive field where there are new freelancers and companies popping up every day, and we know that it is impossible to convince every prospective client to go with us. Guess what? that’s ok! We have learned that the clients that appreciate the same things that we do should be the ones we focus on. If running this business has taught us nothing, it has taught us that you have to be ok with rejection and or not being someones first choice, We as human beings are all different, see the world differently, and prioritize different things. Once you realize that, you stop taking things to heart. We have learned to just keep running our race and let the record speak for itself.

We want the world to know that we are more than a media production company. We are more than a cinematographer or a director. We are and will always be creatives first. You see, we create tangible memories, smiles, lasting moments, tears, understanding, and even love. We create customers, buyers, followers, and fans. We create aesthetics, vibes, standards, awareness and exponential growth. Cause honestly, in this day and age that’s what the right videography has the ability to do and that is how we view our role. If a picture is worth a thousand words, what we do is worth a million, and our goal is to make sure that our clients get every syllable that they are entitled.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, we are from Albany, Georgia so if they were looking for something a bit more lowkey we would probably go out to eat at a historical staple like “Jimmies Hot Dogs” and spend time downtown at the Riverfront park where we would probably wind up indulging in sweets from “Kingscorn” and a drink from “The Flint”, making sure to run through the fountains at the park at least once. Then probably end the night whooping them in Laser tag at “All American Fun Park”.

However, if they wanted a more fast-paced experience then we are definitely headed back to Atlanta and starting the day off with a “Paint and Sit” in Centennial Park. Knowing the weather we would only be there a couple of hours tops cause the heat does not play. By that time we would have worked up enough of an appetite to go to “Slutty Vegan” for lunch. Where the employees would yell cleverly branded obscenities at us and we just eat it up! We would then get us some indoor time in at “Andretti’s” cause who said that adults can’t have fun. We would wind up getting another drink at the bar after we had used all of our credits and energy playing games and doing obstacles. We would then either end the night early out of exhaustion or get a second wind and just explore the city.

We just love being around people enjoying life. it is a feeling that is hard to describe but easy to pinpoint. Any place where people can get together to just be in the now and enjoy themselves is a place that we wanna be.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to dedicate this shoutout to our loyal clientele, we won’t name them all but you all know who you are. Deciding to go out on faith and become business owners was no easy feat and it was even harder starting out in a smaller area with limited resources. We would not have been able to gain the experience and get to where we are now without each loyal client we have made over the years, and their outward appreciation of our work, whether through shares or referrals. Your support means more than you know, and we appreciate every contribution.
