We had the good fortune of connecting with Vee Raiyn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vee, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I was always into fashion specially in high school people would ask me “hey can you style me for homecoming?” Or “hey where do you shop at I need help “ but funny things is I started off as a professional dancer just dancing for different artist and being behind the scene I would get annoyed because sometimes the dancers had trash outfits but I loved seeing the stylist making the outfits running back and forth and making the vision come to life. So I told myself “yup that’s what I want to do so I stepped away from the dance scene and started focusing on styling and how I would start. but I never really took it seriously until my 2nd year (2021) of being in Atlanta because I was getting the same questions frequently! I would sit in my bed creating mood boards and treatments for photoshoot ideas I would have in my head and then one day randomly I said “I’m going to start this today “ and the next week one of my friends asked me to style her for a photoshoot. I called off work and did just that. And from that day one I was getting amazing opportunity a month later. I just took the risk and a leap of faith .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart of others is my vision is my vision at the end of the day you’re either your to like it or not it’s not for everyone and I love that because it creates a topic no matter what. And what I’m most proud of myself Is even when it gets hard I’m still pushing through and figuring it out it’s definitely not easy at all it looks easy but it’s not I’m still learning everyday and overcoming the challenges. The lessons that I’ve learned is don’t let anyone make you second guess yourself or tell you that you can’t do it. Don’t let anyone walk all over you because that’s what they will do in this industry if you don’t put your foot down. And just be you .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting I would take her to little 5 points of course I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite spot but I love that area because it’s always something different everyday. It’s crazy because I don’t have a favorite spot in Atlanta yet I’m still exploring.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Of course shoutout to my mom !!! She always support me in whatever I want to do and it’s there 100% . Also D.rush I was one of his assistant for a day but I learned so much in just one day ! Also my best friend and my boyfriend they help me a lot when it comes to and idea that I have and push me towards better.
