We had the good fortune of connecting with Jalen Foy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jalen, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson I learned is to battle through uncomfortableness. The only time i actually noticed growth was in moments i felt uncomfortable. I think one of the most limiting factor is avoiding discomfort. Growth thrives on challenges and repetition. If you can master discomfort, you can master just about anything.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Patience is a tough lesson i had to learn. Once i started to trust the process everything started to align for me. I truly fill like i manifested my life through my goals, habits, and always having my eyes on the end goal.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Tapping in with nature is a must for me so Zonolite Park is definitely on the itinerary. It’s so peaceful and the perfect place to meditate. A hidden gem of Atlanta.

And if I’m grabbing a bite to eat and drinks I’m heading over to Harold’s Chicken & Ice Bar.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out the men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. I still use and hold our core values faithfully today..
