Most people say they want success, but when you ask them what success means you get wildly different responses. We recently asked some of the best and brightest in our community to tell us about how they define success and have shared their responses below.

I feel that success is something that only you can define based on your own journey. The meaning of success is different for everyone but to me, to be successful is to be happy and content in what you’re doing in life. Success to someone can mean being wealthy and having all the glitz and glam but an amazing success story in my eyes would be me doing photography full time and getting paid to create and lay out all kinds of content and concepts. Success to me is being able to have control over my own schedule and being able to choose more specifically in what type of work I want to do. I achieved that goal last year mid April when I took that leap to become a full time artist. It’s definitely in my top 5 of biggest jumps I’ve ever taken. You take the chance on having to create your own money flow, it can be a scary thing. In my world, I have made it. I have two young children so the freedom I have to work around their schedule is the best thing I could have. Read more>>
