We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Stephenson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I feel like my “whatever it takes” attitude has helped me succeed thus far. When I started my first business I was still on Active Duty and I would leave base at 4pm and get to my office by 5pm and wouldnt leave until midnight or later sometimes and I still had to be at work by 7am the next morning.

What should our readers know about your business?
The thing that excites me the most about the Premature Billionaire brand is the impact it’s going to make on the next generation of entrepreneurs. I created this brand for specifically for first generation entrepreneurs who aren’t privileged to the proper information or resources but are still building their business brick by brick. I want them to know its okay to have big goals and just because they don’t come from a wealthy family doesn’t mean they can’t be rich beyond their wildest dreams.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend was in town visiting, I’d take them to Star Bar Raleigh located in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have the best soul food in the city and they also the best music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my mom, Patricia Stephenson, and my two best friends Andrew Covington and Tim Wright. These 3 as a collective have contributed to a huge part of my success. My mom is my biggest fan and supporter, even if she doesn’t understand what I’m talking to her about she still has so much faith in me that I’m going to get it done and that’s a huge confidence booster for me. Tim is that friend that’s going to always give words of encouragement and also keep it real with me and make sure I’m always holding myself accountable. Andrew, he’s actually my lawyer who handles all my business registrations and trademarks, he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to business and he has one of the biggest hearts.
