We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiara, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
GirlBoss Suites Houston is a chic, community, and co-working space where we cater to women in business and aspiring to be in business. This space is a content creator and game changer’s dream. We are helping women in business by providing affordable space and connecting them to experts through our programming. Women are the fastest group of entrepreneurs nationwide and we want to make sure we keep these numbers growing. We also want to make sure women in business: stay in business and reach 6 figure earning potential in their business. It is important to have a legit business past a hashtag and to make sure you create a great business foundation.

 

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
GirlBoss Suites started in Atlanta, we are planning to open up in Houston soon, we are locking in location now! I am also the CEO of the TLJ Agency where I help my clients brand their dreams through prayer, manifestation, and execution. I am passionate about female entrepreneurs! I bring women together every year for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and Women’s History Month so creating GirlBoss Suites, made so much sense! It is not easy and definitely hard work. It is my purpose so it makes it easier, it is bigger than me! I overcame by staying positive, keep going, and praying really hard all the time. I learned to charge your worth, walk away after red flags people will be who they are, and trust your gut. I want the world to know that your faith is your secret weapon ! We were all given a super power, once you tap in, NEVER let go !

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I grew up in Atlanta, I would say I am queen of the nightlife. I love the food, the people, the places. I like to jog on the beltline and grab smoothies at ponce city market. I really enjoy Buckhead where our office is located. The bars and restaurants are amazing! If I am not out with friends, I will spend days with my family. Atlanta has my heart and I love it here!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shout-out to my co-founder/business partner Shayna Marshall and God, first. We are opening up these spaces nationwide and without God nothing would be possible !
