We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Thornton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to carry my family legacy back to owning our own businesses. My parents gave us everything, the least I could do as the firstborn was leave where they left off in creating generational wealth. My kids (natural or inherited) will have bonds, stocks, assets and businesses to leverage their lives with

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Queen B Enterprises is about empowering digital media to influence our culture for better! Were on TV, Radio, Social Media, Fitness, Blogs, Artistry and deal with any type of Creative Influence. I try to take my personal life experiences and connect them with everyday people. I didnt make it an official business until COVID, maybe it was a lack of confidence, but now I’m moving in a direction understanding the assignment. From promotional services, interviews, fitness consulting, branding, marketing, creative concepts, music development, videography and so much more… we are growing to become a reflection of the better part of the world!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m an introverted party girl, I only go to places that are worth me leaving the house and are with good people and good food! I enjoy the concerts that hit town or supporting some of my favorite DJs. Sangria Patio Bar for R&B karaoke or Select Nightclub. Choptank is a beautiful restaurant on the water but Jimmys has some of the best seafood in town! We’re definitely hitting up both casinos too!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my Mom, Terri Thornton, she is my shero. In her twenties, fighting for her life after having brain surgery due to a car accident is just one example of how strong she is. She’s worked full-time as my mom in my nearing 34 years on earth. There isn’t anything I would do for her, the tough love, the lessons, the care, the surprises, the gifts, the spiritual motivation… I needed it all. Our relationship has positively grown so much I’d welcome being a mom after being in denial in my teenage years of ever wanted to be one. My brother who has become a little big brother after our dad passed, he stepped in like he was raised to do. My close friends. peers, colleagues, coworkers and industry partners have played an unforgettable part in the past decade. I just want to shoutout all my supporters for following, clicking, sharing, voting, and being apart of my brand and business! Thank you ALL!!
